How many of the upgrades are in the Orzhov guildkit? I bought the guildkit as a starter for my Teysa deck...$20 for over $40 in value specifically for this deck is a great starting point imo

Since you've added the 3 drop Teysa, add Darkest Hour. Teysa + Darkest Hour + Sac Outlet + Drain creature + an additional creature to sac is an infinite kill if no one stops it. Normally I don't put infinite kills in but this one is fragile enough and has enough moving parts that I feel it's fair.

I just about exploded with joy when I first read the new Teysa, and she’s getting a lot of love on all the channels.
Building her right now! My budget is 100 dollars but I also have an elenda, smothering tithe, tithe taker, Sol ring, viscera seer and a bunch of useful cards. Very excited to see how my deck plays out against my friends arcades, jhoira and keranos decks!
Great deck tech. I ended up throwing in smothering tithe into this deck, and got tremendous value from it. Another obscure one that was helpful, was He who Hungers.
Elenda the Dusk Rose is a good addition, just don't know what you'd sub out- it gets twice the +1/+1 counters, spawns twice the vampires. Each dead creature essentially gives you four vampires. Good deck list though.

I really appreciate the amount of explanation that is added into the cuts and additions. Instead of just giving a blank deck list your explanations help me make jusgement calls for myself whether I agree, disagree, or want to play the deck in a different style! I was wondering why you don't run Elenda, Dusk Rose though, she seems to be a very strong synergy card with teysa as well as our multiple sac outlets. I checked in th 200 dollar upgrade video you posted and didn't see it there either, and was hoping you could explain why you prefer not to run it in the maindeck?

I notice you don't do any Planeswalker commanders. I know not many are allowed, but you should start a separate series for that. Might I suggest Dovin, Grand Arbiter? I would love to see a good decklist that revolves around a planeswalker that can actually ult. From my understanding, he's not officially allowed to be a commander, even though he's a legendary, but in local settings, he can still be a fun commander to go up against. Plus, it'd be nice to see an Azorious commander deck that isn't necessarily a control deck. Consider it. :) Edit. I just realized you did do a Nicol Bolas, the Ravanger deck, but he's a special case.
I'd suggest Steelshaper's Gift over Open the Armory. It's a couple dollars more and it can't find Dark Privilege, but it's only one mana. On top of that, if you're ever searching for Dark Privilege, you're probably not in a good position to begin with.

shame i cant smash the like button more than once :D as for upgrade its basically what i have athough i put ''atheros, god of passage '' and it works amazing in my games. costing 6life per opponent if teysa is out to send things to the graveyard really hard to deal with :)
I plan my teysa Karlov deck more of a combo deck. I put cards in like Nim deathmantle+Ashnod's altar karmic guide Plus reveillark. for free sack outlets I use cards like high market or yahenni and sadistic hypnotist

I have to disagree with cutting the butcher of malakir. In my oppinion, gravepact effects are just sooo powerfull in commander and it can just win you the game in it's own. Yes it costs 7 but you're not having a lot of other expensive cards so you can afford to run one 7 drop.

Double that with anointed procession. Ancient stone idol isn't as much value as wurmcoil, but is only a fraction of the cost with a similar upside.
A great card! Just wish it was a bit cheaper so it doesn't eat up too much of the budget
