We've embarked on possibly our biggest adventure yet- building a homestead from the ground up. We are excited to announce that we are now stewards of 23 acres of Western North Carolina mountain land.
I wrote this song when we were starting our land search in earnest, really thinking hard about how we want to spend our lives. I sang it on all of the properties we looked at, and this spot fulfilled the poetry and made our hearts sing. We are so grateful.
We know that we have an enormous amount of effort ahead of us, but we have been working toward this for our whole lives, and we feel prepared. As it often goes, we're making it work on a shoestring, doing the best we can with what we've got.
