For context: The current ruling party is the highest backed political party and the highest backed president in decades as Mexicans finally managed to kick out the corrupt elite that ruled over Mexico for 80 plus years. The current president has the second highest approval rating of any president in the world and Sheinbaum is his successor who won by a land slide too.

Completely wrong. No one was forced to vote for Sheinbaum, that's a total fabrication. Hugs not bullets was never about treating the cartels nicely, it also never came with a seize fire. As an American, I am envious of Mexico’s Morena Party. Let’s look at just 3 of the major accomplishments under AMLO:
    1. Tripled the minimum wage while the US minimum wage has been unchanged since 2009. No doubt millions have been raised out of poverty while the US minimum wage is only good for kids to get some spending money and no grown adult can survive on it. It is a disgrace and a shame upon the US that we continue to have this pathetic minimum wage. In fact, one of the 2 major parties want to abolish it completely. That’s how low we have sunk as a nation in terms of decency and morality towards our fellow citizens.
    2. Made judges have to be elected all the way up to the Supreme Court level and implemented term limits, while the US Judicial branch is probably the most corrupt branch in the US government, which is saying something. They are the root cause of corporations being able to quell democracy in the US through legalizing unlimited campaign contributions.
    3. Huge infrastructure projects throughout the country that will result in big economic growth. Biden represented a shift in this from previous administrations, but the US infrastructure had been neglected.
Amazing accomplishments that the US should emulate and seek to implement. Mexico believes in using the power of government to help regular people while the US believes in using it to give corporations even more money that they do not need or deserve! Those are the facts right now!
