      people mad about the no call for offensive holding also must be blind for half the games in the NFL, cause that's never called as long as the o-lineman is squared up with the defender and at least somewhat between him and the QB. they only call the hold when the defender gets away and the o-lineman is still pulling on them from behind. if i were a betting man, i would bet that exact thing happened in at least half the games just this week, but no one noticed cause it wasn't KC.

      @becpennington7470 ปีที่แล้ว

      Taylor has a target on his back but he STILL KEEPS DOING THOSE THINGS. Anyway, the horsecollar was 100% in the ref's imagination, but I would have called the safety if I were the ref, too, because the egregiousness of the penalty (turning the head) was actually committed in the end zone, while the earlier part might have been ignored in the interest of playing through.

      @@becpennington7470 he didn’t last week and we got a TD called back because of it. Selective enforcement of the rules is bullshit. But either way, it flies in the face of anyone saying the Chiefs are favored by the refs if THEY ARE TARGETING ONE PLAYER FOR SOMETHING A MAJORITY OF LINEMEN DO. Watch any tackle. Almost all of them pick up their outside leg and move slightly before the ball moves.
      And the rule for a facemask says where the mask is grabbed, not twisted. That’s why Terry McAulay broke that down in the booth. He said they missed the call, and I’d trust a former NFL ref with 3 Super Bowls on his resume over some random on TH-cam.

The reason the score was 23-20 and not 23-13 to begin with was because the New York Jets first touchdown drive was kept alive by a phantom horse collar penalty on Derrick Ngati after the Jets were stopped on third down in their own territory.
