Was that Barbara Hershey from the movie The Entity??? OMG I just noticed that, the most intense of haunted houses movies----The ghost in that movie does some pretty intense things to that woman I thought she was done with horror after that, that's awesome

Hope you watch Insidious 2 soon! You’ll want answers about what happened to Elise. There’s some history there lol. I loved this reaction, you are SO funny! 🤣
Barbara Hershey, who was in this film also starred in one of the most disturbing hidden gem horror films of all time called "The Entity". It was released in 1982 and it deals with supernatural subject matter that can be very traumatic to women. It was very controversial at the time but, is an excellent and very scary film. Also, your reactions are better than the films themselves and the line "Rip his hair off!" hit me as the funniest thing I've heard in a long time! Lol!

I find that watching the special features from the Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer DVD [especially the behind the scenes on creating the props, cinema gore / blood, etc.] really helps folks bring it back to reality that's it's all really just cinematic craft, lots of corn syrup, red food coloring, crazy props, latex, etc. It's a lot easier to kinda' distance oneself from the horror and the scares when one kinda' knows the cinema craft that goes in to making it and one kinda' just enjoys it for the art of it, of a sort. The art of the scare, I guess. Good direction, ambiance, art direction, etc. I mean, that's not to say that jump scares don't still get me occasionally, but it's all a bit less "terrifying" when one has in one's brain "corn syrup and red food coloring." And just enjoys it for the good stuff. ;)
I think you secretly LOVE horror movies. The EXORCIST ruined my childhood in the 80's. It's funny how today's kids think it's dated, which I guess it is, but it's still a MASTERPIECE. Insidious, and all the Conjuring Universe movies by James Wan are going to be good. You should check out James Wan's "Death Sentence" with Kevin Bacon. Not horror, but classic Wan. Speaking of Kevin Bacon, you'd "like" the horror movie , "STIR of ECHOES"
"Is there an Insidious 2?" There are 5 Insidious movies but only this, part 2 and the last one (The Red Door) feature this family. 3 & 4 are prequels where the old woman is the main character. I haven't seen Red Door yet, but I enjoyed all 4 Insidious films. They're like roller coaster rides; scary, but fun (though 4 is probably the tamest one, 3 I found to be the creepiest).
I love a good horror movie, and I really loved this one. Only thing better is your reaction, you really bring such a great energy. Not just because you get freaked out, but you just are so animated and funny about it.
Awesome reaction, Kat! Of course we watch horror movies for fun! You only have a few hundred more to go before you're desensitized enough to enjoy them as well 🤣 As other people have mentioned, you definitely need to watch Insidious 2. It's connected to the first one in a really clever way. Then you can move on to The Conjuring and a whole related universe of films. One movie that I didn't see mentioned in the comments is 1986's The Fly which would pair well with 1982's The Thing, which others have suggested. They're both in the body horror subgenre. I should probably warn you not to eat anything before you watch The Fly. In fact, if you have a weak stomach or get grossed out easily you might want to skip it entirely. Can't wait to see the next reaction!
I need you to watch insidious chapter 2 it picks up immediately after this one and the story is so freaking good I think you’d actually really enjoy it
just found your channel a week ago and love it! Your a lot like my big sister who HATES horror as well it cracks me up. my lil sis and i love horror and supernatural stuff! Fun fact when the do the seance the mask thing the do is a dipicted imitation of an actual ghost hunting tool called the “Estes Method” which takes away your sight to focus on what you hear from a spirit box. It was developed in Estes park, which is where the Stanley hotel is where Stephen King was inspired for the “The Shining”. If you ever get the chance the “sam and colby” youtube channel has great investigations showing the method!!! love ya ❤
Hey Kat, there are more Insidious movies. You should consider watching Sinister or, a older movie called The Entity that stars Barbara Hershey. I believe that movie was made in the 1970's also, I think it's based on actual events. It would be soo much fun to actually watch these movies with you in person, I would be cracking up the entire time but of course, would have to sit far away with your fists of fury lol! Love your reactions, keep them coming 😊
LOVE your reactions!! THANK YOU! I feel like I’d really enjoy/appreciate your commentary in other settings like the bulk food aisle at the grocery store or on that slingshot ride at the carnival ☺️

Me watching horror movies regularly. Incidious, the Exorcist, Human centipede, REC, VHS, Hereditary, I see I see, the Witch, Midsommar,.... List goes on. I am not easily scared. That being said... WTF IS THAT LITTLE PUPPET DOING IN THE CORNER OF YOUR ROOM?! That nearly gave me a heart attack 😂😂😂 That thing is scarier than all horror movies combined🙈 put it awaaaaay
Hi Kat. Lots of reactors on TH-cam, and they all react to the same well-trod movies. For horror, try: The Legend of Hell House (with Roddy McDowell), The Sixth Sense, The Others, Haunted (with Kate Beckinsale), An American Werewolf In London, The Thing (1982), The Keep (which is lkinda weird but has some cool effects and stars a younger Ian McKellen, Scott Glenn, Jurgen Prochnow, and Gabriel Byrne.
If you watch this movie highly recommend insidious 2 3 and 4 although 3 and 4 are prequels but still are a MUST WATCH and I loved your commentary on this you definitely have a new subscriber I love your channel thank you for the entertainment 💙💙💙💙

Was that Barbara Hershey from the movie The Entity??? OMG I just noticed that, the most intense of haunted houses movies----The ghost in that movie does some pretty intense things to that woman I thought she was done with horror after that, that's awesome
just subscribed ! i love horror movies yet i get scared easily, guess part of the reason why i love horror movies is the scared feeling i get when watching the movies and it’s exciting to me. you remind me a lot of me watching horror movies, i always scream at the characters or just in general 😭
Just found you yesterday- already here for your videos all day!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌅🌃
Just found your channel recently. This is by far your best reaction I’ve seen. Shit was hilarious.
8:49 lol you crack me up Kat. I watch your reaction videos just for the comedy lol
Lol!
You are awesome Kat! Your reactions are priceless! I never had more LOLs than I ever had watching other reactors than you. You have definitely have my subscription and a new following fan with me. Please keep up what you're doing. You most definitely hit the spot!
FURBALL!! Just the best comment to read!!! Thank you so so much for saying that-- I am so glad you had a good laugh!!! That's really truly my hope. You've made me very happy:D:D
Great reaction, you are the best in Horror Reactions on You tube. You are queen of the jump scares. I'm so glad I came across your horror Reactions.
Love your expressive reactions. Subscribed! 😀
Saw one of my favourite jump scares of all time in the thumbnail so here I am.
New to your vids.. Very fun reactions.. You're a very likeable person.. there's a few I could recommend.. I'll need to go through all your posts first to see if you've already seen them x
I watch this movie and the conjuring series for fun! Sometimes when I'm bored I'll just re watch all the insidious and Conjuring movies. This movie has the same director as the Conjuring, James Wan, I love his work :)
Same! I love watching both these sets just for fun. I've seen all the Conjuring and Insidious movies so many times... and they don't get old. Love JW's work!
I wonder what your neighbors think when they hear regular horrified screaming coming from your apt/house
This is without a doubt my new favorite reaction channel. So entertaining.
PLEAAAAASEEE!!! Lol. Bless your heart! Cheers.
Another absolute banger 😂 Made me laugh so much although I'm sorry you had to go through that for out entertainment haha! And yes i watch them for fun at night 🙈😂 Horror films don't scare me though lol. Thanks again for the great video! They always cheer me up ❤️
JODS!!! You better believe your comment made me smile SO BIG. Thank you for your kindness!! I am so happy you got a good laugh. That makes me day!!! HUGE DISTANCE HIGH FIVE TO YOU PAL!!!! SEE YOU SOON👻🙌👻
"Is there an Insidious 2?"
There are 5 Insidious movies but only this, part 2 and the last one (The Red Door) feature this family. 3 & 4 are prequels where the old woman is the main character. I haven't seen Red Door yet, but I enjoyed all 4 Insidious films. They're like roller coaster rides; scary, but fun (though 4 is probably the tamest one, 3 I found to be the creepiest).
KAT... U R AWESOME! ❤️
I love a good horror movie, and I really loved this one. Only thing better is your reaction, you really bring such a great energy. Not just because you get freaked out, but you just are so animated and funny about it.
She was completely psyched out from the beginning. A++++ Top notch reaction videos. Subscribed, Bell Rung.
You are my favorite movie reactor. Thank you for the entertainment. Continued success.
1:19 You had me at 'Please!' - The pleading and bargaining should be a reaction reserved for the most terrifying movies :)
Whoever told you that doing this was a good idea ,,,, thank them !!!
your scream is hilarious ,,,, !!!!!
Nice video! You should watch the rest of the insidious movies! There’s a fifth one coming out real soon!
The way you say, “please!” Makes me chuckle.
Awesome reaction, Kat!
Of course we watch horror movies for fun! You only have a few hundred more to go before you're desensitized enough to enjoy them as well 🤣
As other people have mentioned, you definitely need to watch Insidious 2.
I just realized I have watched all of your videos in the last day or so. I hope you stick around for a long time.
I need you to watch insidious chapter 2 it picks up immediately after this one and the story is so freaking good I think you’d actually really enjoy it
Scaredy cat girl, but too darn cute❤!
Awesome reaction. I love people's first reaction to the lipstick face demon, and you did not disappoint. Now give Sinister a look.
just found your channel a week ago and love it!
The music is a scare in itself.
I swear to Christ when I hear that tiny time song I fucking have shivers running up my spine
I love it when You get angry. No way I would mess with You! :D
LOVE your reactions!! THANK YOU!
I feel like I’d really enjoy/appreciate your commentary in other settings like the bulk food aisle at the grocery store or on that slingshot ride at the carnival ☺️
One of the creepiest modern horror movies. I love your reactions. They remind me of me and my friends and families first reactions watching these films 💙
"please don't go", but K C and the sunshine band should be your new theme song 😂
That nearly gave me a heart attack 😂😂😂
That thing is scarier than all horror movies combined🙈 put it awaaaaay
That scene in the thumbnail has to be one of the greatest movie jumpscares in the modern era! 😱😱😱
Kat quote of the movie “don’t go in there, there is going to be a little boy in there, he is going to F$&@ you up.”
This movie scared the hell outta me! Watching your reaction is like watching a comedy! I am just laughing out loud! =X-D Btw.... love your scream!
Yes, there is an Insidious 2 and it's a direct sequel. I starts right there were the first one ended. So you have to watch it :)
OK, started with hereditary and now binge watching through your channel: having a lot of fun!
This is easily one of the best horror movies of the last 20 years.
You have the greatest reactions that I have ever seen 😂I love your beautiful smile
74 hell no's out of 11.
Great line!
Trying to figure out which Jersey town you grew up in?
