My FAVORITE model EVER! Here she still looks as beautiful and elegant as she did back in the 70's and 80's when I began following fashion and sewing. I still have my Vogue Pattern magazines in which Karen appeared. :-)
Always elegant. Always chic. What a time to be alive in NYC. She was at the beginning of the magic (Fashion/Music/Photography) These are great stories!!
This Lady is Awesome. VERY down-to-earth feminine, agreeable, and not overly opinionated. The reason she was a real professional. Sad to say but it is near impossible to find this sort of delightful female character type today.
She's right, its IMPOSSIBLE to find patternmakers and seamstresses anymore, everyone wants to be a Tom Ford (or Halston) but they don't want to learn how to actually do it.
I think a lot of models in the past people new them by they looks stunning and different stand out More karen looks always stunning on the runway model look stuning
Gorgeous! And just so elegant in that simple white button down, but im curious as to what her past interview experiences have been...she was absolutely very very rigid and sort of serious in the beginning...it was almost 2 different people in this interview...and its not nerves...
Thank 🙏 god for angels 👼 👱🏻♀️ ! What a well spoke , beautiful 😻 woman 👩! Only disappointment , is wish we got a longer look at that beautiful book cover she’s on !! WOW! Boston 😷 💪
This interviewer doesn’t sound like she’s really had the training to conduct archival oral histories and seems very unprofessional and superficial. This was a missed opportunity.
The interview person needs a little help with reeling in her imposing moments where she’s overpowering the exchange and answering of questions by Karen. She comes off as somewhat nervous and tends to not let Karen finish her sentence.
Yes the laughing by the interviewer is a bit much and at awkward times. I know an interview needs to feel like a conversation but it’s still an interview for the consumer/viewer. That being said it was too much and too loud.
@Marshall Smith Yes, that sucked seemed like she’d have found out the pronunciation of her name beforehand after all she was going to be interviewing her.
What a shame the interviewer is, well, silly and obviously inexperienced. I don't think I can listen to her idiotic gushing and breathless "oh my gods". What a shame she kept interrupting her subject who was, when she was allowed to speak, interesting and articulate.
It also doesn't help that most people are not into being a connoisseur, but instead expect "spectacle". Hence the culture we have now is one of "ADHD". If one is familiar ( being a connoisseur) with the subject of this interview, she IS elaborating. It is not her job to appeal to the know nots and the infantilised. It also doesn't help that the interviewer is of the fangurl type that we have too many of ( both sexes) in the media world. They tend to centre themselves and their fandom in any interview.

She is so elegant and has aged very gracefully.
She has come out of the pass well😊
Agreed, she has wonderful poise.

Stunning and Humble Karen ... The perfect HALSTON model ... Karen / Halston Simply the Best
This Lady is Awesome. VERY down-to-earth feminine, agreeable, and not overly opinionated. The reason she was a real professional. Sad to say but it is near impossible to find this sort of delightful female character type today.
I agree I wish I were more like her I love her mannerisms.
Very nice interview! Thank you!
Very interesting interview! First time I get to see and hear Karen and interestingly she gives a Lisa Kudrow vibe! Very sweet!
This lady is beyond classy. Great interview, extremely interesting and a real lady. Her style as herself is truly beautiful.
She's right, its IMPOSSIBLE to find patternmakers and seamstresses anymore, everyone wants to be a Tom Ford (or Halston) but they don't want to learn how to actually do it.
Those days are over, they may as well just keep making clothes for their friends
There are seamstresses but mostly we have tailors
What a wonderful lady!
I think a lot of models in the past people new them by they looks stunning and different stand out

The interview was a success because of the guest.
Always a class act 🧡

Beautiful elegant Karen.
Omgosh, she was pen pals with Wilhelmina. I would love just a FO letter from her front office 😊💕💫
SHE'S THE BEST
Actress Lisa Kudrow looks like this lady.
For real
Great conversation genuine chat she was sexy model graceful
This interviewer doesn’t sound like she’s really had the training to conduct archival oral histories and seems very unprofessional and superficial. This was a missed opportunity.
Karen Bjornson is a serious person with a lot to contribute, and this shrieking, gushing interviewer was the wrong choice.
She is trying her best she is not a professional fashion Journalist.
Calm down she’s not shrieking. Good lord
The guest is great. The one doing the interview needs a bit of refining.
The interview person needs a little help with reeling in her imposing moments where she’s overpowering the exchange and answering of questions by Karen. She comes off as somewhat nervous and tends to not let Karen finish her sentence.
Fitted her for dd dominick
Did that interviewer say she use to model?😳
The interview person sounds very inmature.

lisa kudrow
She seems so over it lol
She didn’t even pronounce her name correctly!
@Marshall Smith Yes, that sucked seemed like she’d have found out the pronunciation of her name beforehand after all she was going to be interviewing her.
Great interview however the laughing of the interviewer is so loud and interrupts the interview
What a shame the interviewer is, well, silly and obviously inexperienced. I don't think I can listen to her idiotic gushing and breathless "oh my gods". What a shame she kept interrupting her subject who was, when she was allowed to speak, interesting and articulate.
she is hard to get information from--pulling teeth--no elaboration.

Veeeery neutral.
The interviewer is boring. First stages of dementia.
Nice lady...but very "dry" personality.😐
