I've been using suno for a few months and the absolute best use of it is for making songs based around your friend's most embarrassing moments and then sending it to them. It's great for meme songs.

Try out Udio. I like that a bit more then Suno. Not all genres tho and has problem with vocal volume and mix, but still pretty solid alternative

The sound quality right now is like beatport or junodownload preview. That 160kbs vibe, but i mean, its catching up soon. In the very near future i can imagine the quality getting alot better and possible to prompt stems out of it too 😬

If you make the prompts more detailed and use the right/ important keywords i think you are able to pull more out of it. Somefolks use chatgpt for example to write good prompts. I used for example:
'90's style euro sad rave gabber dance song, arpeggiated synths, pop chord arrangement in minor, dancefloor dnb 175bpm." (can be done better probably, and experiment to see how it behaves)
If you keep generating and like and dislike them i think you will stumble upon something. I also adjust the prompt sometimes a little bit so it goes in the direction i want . I got at least a 2 definitely cool ideas with great melody hooks, but a lot of them straight out suck or are really generic pop. You will need to polish them a bit anyway and make some changes. But can be a cool inspiration to get a song started. There is one i'm gonna use for sure soon.
You can also extend a track btw so you might get a drop :)
Also this is a create your own vocal samples. Get the vocal stem from the suno ai, use another ai to change somewords if needed (or input your lyrics in suno) Then use a voice changer ai to get the stems more human and cleaned back again. Arc nade made a video tutorial about this recently.
Since i tried the suno i get the feeling there is already ai made pop music out there now. Though reproduced and redone vocals with small adjustments by good writers. Cant prove it but i wouldn't be suprised if it was so. There is for sure better stuff out there behind closed doors not available for us yet.
Slurp De DidLY Durp Big G!!! First of all, I'm Not a big fan of A.I. I would rather create my own vocals , drum beats , and other stuff. Being ORIGINAL is Very important with my work. Now I Might Borrow Other peoples VITAL presets, LIKE ART!FACT's NEW VITAL PRESET PACK AVAILABLE NOW!!! (you like how i did that?) With that said, A.I. seems to be the Flavor of the month and if other people like it and use thats fine, But for me, I LOVE a Challenge and creating sounds on my own is the way for me.
