J S I don’t know who and how did your mod but “mine” which I published here is working without any restart. I did it for several Focus RS and no reset mate.
@@nutronpromoto I think they're asking if it will be the automatically selected drive mode when the car starts, rather than being reset to "normal" with every restart. Mine, like it did from the factory, "resets" to normal with every restart, even though the fith (custom "⭐") mode is still available to select it isn't select by default. Is yours able to remain in the custom, or other mode, when the car is powered off, and back on?
If you are ever in the UK I would pay £100-£200 for you to install this option to mine. I would expect many others would also. Could be a great business.

Thom Murphy True, car starts always from Normal Mode, so you have to select Custom.
