      The consensus on nature vs nurture debate is that it’s a mix of both. At 6 years old he probably doesn’t even remember what he did or why.
      Child who are abused, especially sexually early on in life don’t know what boundaries are and often act out.

      Small children are very jealous , that’s normal. It’s the adults responsibility to teach them how to process their emotions, be a good model for what compassion, empathy and patience looks like.
      Was she abused? Neglected? Easy to say a child was born bad than to take a hard look in the mirror and acknowledge all the ways we may have failed our child.

      Agree ! Police were called to that home many times in the past. Kid would have seen dad threaten mom with a knife perhaps ?? So as we know , kids follow in adult footsteps, and given their race , it was inevitable ...

    • @shaniaday2739
      @shaniaday2739 หลายเดือนก่อน +42

      @SalimAbdallah-ek7jq Everything you said is correct until you mention 'race'. Race has nothing to do with it. Violence can be learned no matter the color of ones skin and/or race. If this is what a CHILD witnesses in their early years, there is the possibility of them repeating this same behavior. A good bit of times it doesn't end like this, but they may abuse a spouse and/or child when they adults. Also, did they mention race for this family? 🤔

    This is a tough situation, but we cannot judge the mother or grandmother because NONE OF US WAS THERE. No one knows if both women work or what was going on at the moment. It’s easy for all of us to pass judgement without knowing the whole truth. This family needs prayers and compassion for all of us. Our country LACKS COMPASSION and it’s disturbing to see how easily we tear each other down.

    For those emphasizing the need for the child to face jail time, you are wrong and I’ll tell you why.
    The child likely does not realize what his actions caused. The act was likely a violent outburst mimicking behaviors he has seen in the home.
    This child can still be taught empathy and how to process his emotions in a healthy way.
    I would not be surprised if the child was being sexually abused and that caused him to lose his ability to empathize. I watched a documentary of a girl who was SA’d by her dad since she was a baby and she dissociated and lost her ability to empathize, she started hurting others, lashing out, being extremely violent. Her adoptive parents showered her with love and they worked with a therapy farm where she was taught to care for the animals and that helped her regain her empathy. She grew up to be a nurse.
    Rehab is possible for this child.

      I saw that documentary about the little girl named Beth Thomas. Absolutely broke my heart what happened to her, but I was so glad that she made a recovery. My adopted niece also has RAD(reactive attachment disorder. Same thing) due to abuse she had suffered from her biological family. It was absolute hell for my sister. They got her help, and she also had to stay in a group style home for a while, but she's doing much better now thanks to the love and support from my sister and her husband. Hopefully that's not what this little boy has, and if so I just hope he gets the help he needs.
