At 2:28 - I love how the trolley went around the double parked truck! Great last days footage of the old 56 and 15. Good to see that the 15 has been brought back with rebuilt PCC cars. I read there is a plan to bring back the 56 and the 23, but don't hold your breath!
I love these old trolley cars rolling down the rails! SEPTA needs more Trolley lines. The only lines that remain in service today are the subway-surface lines and route 15
Tell me something, i recall back in 2004 they removed all poles, wires and covered over the trackage so quickly on Torresdale. well, why aren't the tracks covered over west of the elevated on Erie avenue? this shit puzzles me about Septa! The Rt.23 is chopped up if you ride either on eleventh of twelfth in South Philly there's parts covered over with asphalt, everything they do is halfway! Now they rerouted the 15 on to Frankford avenue and built a coop with television monitors
Sorry, what i was trying to say was this..they rerouted the 15 on to Frankford avenue to a loop that sits across from Sugar House. Now they are rebuild 95 along Richmond street and that is the excuse to cut the line short! And that will be another abandoned section of track, an eyesore!
Love the preston 151 truck at 2:52

I miss my old Philadelphia! I’ll take the olden days back over modern technology anytime!
I really miss the 56 trolley...That line should've never been converted...all the federal $ wasted back in the early 90s gone to waste!...
The end of the line 15 Richmond and Westmoreland I love it.
