Why not use glycol versus oil to cool miners. Glycol can be chilled to -200 deg (+/_) and recirculated and won’t freeze. Curious.

either bitcoin price doubles to 80k, or transaction fee per block consistently exceeds 4btc, then MARA alongside many large scale miners are collectively fked. These variables are entirely up to the market.
MARA is focused on reaching the lowest cost, because they're very aware that is how you survive long term. MARA is working to get to a point where energy is virtually free so that halvings and the price of bitcoin are inconsequential.

Bitcoin is an asset w/o an issuer; it is a property, a commodity, whose quantity is finite.
Shouldn’t the halving be bad for miners?
it's bad because they get half the reward but good because the bitcoin price will probably go up. it's expected and happens every 4 years mara survived all the halvings so far as the biggest miner. if bitcoin price goes down for some reason after the halving than the all the miners are in trouble.
Listen up guys. No toilet breaks until the next block is mined
20:30 yeah but those 21j per TH machines are expensive and have a longer ROI. I think the s19j pro will be profitable after the halving bc the hash rate goes down during that period

Vanguard is the biggest investor in miners ,
Watching this video in retrospect, he was underestimating effect of ETF. ETF's have been growing at $1B a week. An analysist predicted ETF's will go $2-$10B this year but at this pace ETF AUM could be $30-$50B. We are already at ATH and Fred predicted it'll be end of the year... BTC will go at least $300K peak this cycle, probably more.

Efficiency is the name of the game. Total cost of ownership- max profitability - machine cost, energy cost, and global hashrate, more and more energy harvesting solutions, being in the bottom 5% cost of mining .
Financial interest + strategic interest; micro mining strategy; small capacity mining , biproduct; micro miners; continuous growth of hash rates - slow initially; financing ; scales to operate one’s own pool; never invest in the 1st generations; operating a data center for AI is so much more expensive than Bitcoin;
Halving more of supply shock; psychlogical impact - price of BTc is not at the place where miners still enjoy profit post halving. Low yield --> sell the mining capacity! Survive 6-12 months ?
Demand increase, price increase! Sovereign comes in; reasonable argument - exceed all time high; a sell off at the end of this year ; next year 2x; global liquidity; US fisical spending increase; 33 trillion National debt; or so sth lower the value of dollar;
Impact of Bitcoin ETF: liquidity; variety; Bitcoin king 👑 - institutional investors- accounting rules.
Business model: 3rd party hosted + self mine ; build capacity first then consolidate;
If you didn't hear the connection between Bitcoin and Jason Lowery s Softwar thesis..... you need to study MOAR.
i invest in Core Scientific but I do think Mr. Thiel is a smart man and MARA should do well too.
