George had the opportunity to personally know & work with Prince on several occasions.....and believe me.....they had a mutual admiration & respect for each other. "Erotic City" , in my humble opinion, was 1 of Prince's true shinning moments......an absolute fucking MASTERPIECE. George did an awesome job with this.....adding true P-Funk flavor to the mix. To my way of thinking......ONLY GEORGE.....could have covered this song, and do it proper justice.

In an earlier interview when Graffiti Bridge was released , Prince commented " George Clinton " has more funk in his pinky than all of us have in our whole body " . Once in a GC interview he commented that " Prince was the baddest brotha in pumps the world had ever seen " . They were truly admirers of each other's talents and more importantly they were friends.

Mr Clinton is from the Motor City, i never new were Tracy was Born, but his mother had the prettiest LIGHT Brown eyes, i believe that caught Mr Clintons attention 😁👍

What blew my mind was the title since I never knew anything about Prince other than "When the Doves Cry", "Purple Rain", and "Darling Nikki" (thanks Foo Fighters).
