Today I am going to be looking at a couple Lululemon workout shirts and doing a full review rating and try on. Okay so I decided that it would be a good idea to wear these shirts for a few months and then do a review on how I like them. I've searched the internet and seen a bunch of articles about these 2 shirts so they are apparently pretty popular and thought you guys might enjoy this review. Okay guys so first things first here is the Drysense t-shirt that I am going to be reviewing from Lululemon. Okay so here is the Heather Wild Indigo color. They have 11 different colors on the site right now and is priced at $78. I ordered a size large as I am about a 42 chest. The website has some pretty good reviews on this piece and most customers are complementing the colors and how soft the material is. There are more negative reviews that I thought with customers complaining about the stitching and quality of the shirt. Some customers mention it is inconsistent sizing between colors as well. Sizing consistency is one of the most important thing in clothing.
This shirt is a blend of polyester, elastane and nylon. It’s a bit shocking that this is the makeup of the shirt because in the hand it feels like cotton even though there isn’t any cotton in it. The weight of the shirt is a bit heavier so that is what could be throwing me off as well. But overall it is very soft. The cut and sew is pretty unique with a cut out under the armpits here and a scalloped bottom of the shirt. I am not a huge fan of the scalloped bottom look or feel of workout shirts. I don’t think its as clean or comfortable as a regular classic cut. There is a ton of stretch to the shirt and really feels good on the skin. The neck opening is solid and looks sharp when its on too.
When trying the shirt on it feels really nice and I definitely like the fabric. The chest had a really good fit but I don’t care for the scallop cut to the shirt at the bottom. The arm openings seemed like they were a good fit overall.
I think my favorite part of this shirt is definitely the fabric. After wearing and washing the shirt several times over the past few weeks it has held up nicely but we will see how it holds up over a year of wear. Im going to rate this shirt a 7.1 out of 10. I would definitely change the bottom to a regular cut and it would make my rating go up a bit higher as well. Overall it’s a decent shirt and would recommend trying it out.
Okay guys so the next shirt I have here is the metal vent t-shirt from Lululemon. The color I purchased was the icing blue and tidewater teal. As you can see its kind of a tie dye design but maybe could pass for a camo design as well. I really like this color and found it super unique so I decided to purchase it. It looks like they are out of stock for this color on the website, but they have about 10 other colors that are really great too.
This shirt is priced at $78 but is marked down to $54 right now on their website. The reviews on this shirt are decent but mostly saying that the shirt was too small or large which is kind of all over the place. I went with a size large and it fit me really well.
Its makeup is a nylon poly blend with a bit of elastane in it as well. The fabric of the shirt surprised me with how much I liked it. I usually don’t like a knitted feel but the fabric on the body feels cool lightweight and very breathable and comfortable. The cut and sew is pretty basic but I really like the way it fits when trying it on. It has a ton of stretch as well which is great for exercising. I can see myself working out and just lounging around in because it's that comfortable. When working out it keeps my body cool as well which I really like. The arm openings on this shirt are great too and not too tight or loose and the length of them is perfect. The neck opening is well made and can tell it is pretty durable. I do worry about the shirts durability a bit because it is a knitted fabric and that can be not so great when squatting but it seems like it will hold up pretty well.
This is definitely one of my favorite if not the favorite Lululemon shirt I own and will probably be getting more. I would rate this shirt an 8.7 out of ten and I really really liked it and would recommend everyone giving it a try.

Dry sense in my opinion is superior to metal vent. HOWEVER if metal vent was a Classic Fit then it would be a whole different conversation.

      can you explain why?

@@darkblaze373 tbh the updated metal vents are now much better than the dry sense! The difference is the material… the dry sense is more for causal look and the metal vent is more for working out BUT can also be for casual wear

@@JorgeGonzalez-zq6su gotcha, i found 2 drysense shirts that were used once for $50 CAD. Ill be using them for the gym.
I have merino wool Wool&Price t shirts that were 128 CAD for shipping but you get a free one after 100 selfies with it. And its perfect for casual wearing, havent had to wash it yet
