    I threw my ponytails and Brazilian tracks away 🥰 my mini twists are shoulder length as of now but I’m stepping on necks by the winter time 💅🏾 really gonna floss during wash n go season when it has hang time with the shrinkage. I’m so excited to shine with my natural curls. ✨

    Giiiiirrrrllll this video needs to go VIRAL! I feel like every black woman and girl should watch this video! It’s so sad how some of our sisters feel so unattractive with their God sent natural hair! It makes me so sad :( Everything you said is literally FACTS! Our beautiful, unique natural hair is not only our pretty privilege but also what truly makes us so special! You’re so right about how the longer your natural hair is, the more people are in awe of you! I also say this from personal experience as well! All you spoke was FACTS! Thank you so much for this video! Praying this goes viral because everyone needs to see it! Also s/o to you for providing natural hair growth tips!

    2:06 you see, even the long haired lady is taking pictures of her Afro
    Yes, her with a long black hair to her hips…the one we’d consider a “natural buss-down” and would pay $400 for. In a crowd for majority of the world she blends in. They’re not taking picture of her hair, they’re taking pictures of YOU with your big beautiful Afro-textured hair. The irony is straight hair is “the standard” but it’s not considered special since most people have it. Use your Afro hair , African features, and dark skin as your privilege

    my favourite protective style is a Marley hair / 4c crochet. I can have my hair cornrowed, (which is how my hair grow the most for me,) but I can the Marley hair, which looks the same as my 4c hair ❤

    Only a certain of natural hair gets you pretty privilege... idk why yall act like we all have the same type of hair. It's annoying, cuz my hair does NOT look like that. Genetics play a huge role as well

    I've been getting relaxers ever since I was so young, my mom put relaxers on my head telling me that it's good for my hair now I'm 14 and i've stopped putting relaxers a couple months ago (I think it was in January or February) I told my mom that I'm not putting a relaxer ever again. now my hair has lost its curly pattern and looks shorter then before due to all the breakage it doesn't shrink like how afro hair should and overall it just looks weird and awkward definitely, I just want my natural hair back and I don't know what to do.... A lot of people online recommended a big chop I'm thinking about it... but it scares me so much 😢

    • @roses-rhoda
      @roses-rhoda 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've gotten my hair chopped before and its not a big deal when you think about it, i had it clean buzzed 💀, although i have relaxed hair now, i will say this HAIR always grows back girl, stick to a routine, grow and glow girl, go for it, you got this!!

    • @Adailyy_
      @Adailyy_ 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't have to do the big chop. You can do a transition. Just let it grow out until it's long enough to cut off the relax ends without the awkward phase. Just treat it well until you're comfortable to cut. You might feel pressured to relapse to the relaxers like i did but everytime you feel like using a relaxer, put in a leave in conditioner

      If done correctly wigs help you retain length. My hair stylist washes my hair and I leave it in cornrows under my wig and because I dont touch it I keep my length and it gets longer. There's a purpose for wigs that goes beyond personal preference.

I have some rosemary growing outsode in the garden lemme go make so hair tea.🌱 I'm trying to vary my hairstyles as I noticed crown breakage from my high puffs. Soooo its time for low manipulation styles - did some mini twists yesterday. I plan to stay on my moisture. Thanks for the wonderful reminders 💕

      Use lightweight oils (such as grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil etc)
      Moisturise your hair as much as you can but try not to overdo it because you'll get product build up x

    i really hate these 4C videos that show enviable 4C hair. I can go to my local store and see 4C that looks like the 1930s Little Rascals. You never show that. This is propaganda. I'd wear my 4C out all the time if it looked liked any of these women. Stop lying.

      Aside from the girl at 2:12 most if not all these girl had 4c looking hair. I promise you its not that hard. Just detangle wash and condition your hair and apply a thick amount of shea butter to it (do a side part for added flare). Expect to get 70% shrinkage.
      Most of the girls in the video have long hair (which was the topic of the video so you can't get mad at her over that lol)
