Been looking for inspiration in house design and this is maybe my favorite template to start from. Absolutely love the house, especially the exterior. Whether the architect intended it or not, it’s a great balance of affordability, security, and safety while also being extremely pleasant

As the sign says, this is in Kamishizu, Sakura City, about 40 km away from the center of Tokyo, where land is cheap and it takes more than an hour by train.
If you wanted to rent a house of the same grade as this house in the center of Tokyo, that would be impossible with $10,000 per month.

For those who think moving countries is a good idea, make sure you travel to that destination often and do longer stays and see how you feel before you make that full commitment.
Sometimes you have the traveling bug and you think the destination you travel to is somewhere you want to be long term, but its nothing more than the traveling high.

Hey brother. Im honestly not into cars as much as I’m into bikes but you are such a kind hearted dude and it’s awesome to watch your videos. It takes a lot of commitment to move to a foreign country with your young kids too. Much love from Canada.

Sir, first I would like to say beautiful house. I am also an American who is married to a Japanese citizen/USA resident. We live in Florida and are in the Oil and Gas business. We own a home in Hakone and a home in Nagano. My wife and I wanted to spend about 10 months out of the year in Japan and the other two months back in the states. We had planned this and talked to our US based accountant. Come to find out, if my wife becomes a resident in Japan and I stay on a spousal visa like you are; we would be subject to double taxation on our US money, and if we stay five years; we would be on the hook for the inheritance tax. We are looking for loopholes to avoid this, and so far the only way around this would be to come on a work sponsored visa, then we should be safe from double taxation on our US money. Please let me know your thoughts and if you have heard the same thing. This is information is coming from a tax accountant in Japan.
    Thank you
