I've had this phone since release and still using it today. It was a beauty, but i need to upgrade soon. It served me well.
Considering buying this or the nokia 3 since my budget is fairly limited and i like the looks of the xperia over the rest. Never had a sony phone before, i'll only be using it for calls/whatsapp/browsing/youtube, and some low end games and apps like FLUID SIMULATION

Using an L1 right now. Love the phone, but the battery charging (the charging not the life) sucks. I use a MacBook charger with it, and the damn thing discharges faster than the charger can keep up.

For anyone buying this phone is really really good. Onkly bad thing it takes for ever to charge. Battery life is good as hell but when you need to charge good luck. Not sure if is nougat 7.0 hope we get oreo with this.

David Tinnerello you can actually do it on any android device. You just need a hacked version of remote play aka an apk

@@shamsomaalin596 I disagree with you on that one. It can lag at times, but for me it's on a rare occasion. I've got many different stuff installed, including a launcher for it too. From Apple to Sony, pretty simple. I'm already used to it 1 and a half days in, great phone! Even gaming works too :3
I’m gonna buy a cheap but nice phone to my daughter (5 years old). She will mostly use the phone for play games and other things a 5 year old girl does with a phone. Would you recommend this Sony? Right now it’s a really nice price on it!

Not gonna lie. The phones graphic capabilities is awful. When I am playing pubg it glitches and crashes all the time. The device gets really slow for no reason. And this phone can't handle 30fps without boiling up. And don't even try to use 60fps.
But then again it is a budget phone so what do you expect.

dude this phone only has 2gb of ram..... PUBG mobile need at least 2gb of ram "alone" for the game run smoothly. So basically you need a 3 or may 4 to 6gb of RAM to play pubg.

Sony should have used Snapdragon 430(to keep cost down) and better build quality.
Xiaomi Note series is cheaper, better processor, better screen and more premium build quality.
What is wrong with Sony? They are hardly selling any phones. You would think they would make more of an effort.

Moisés Silva The Huawei G7 was in the same price bracket as this phone. It had a decent camera, Snapdragon 430, decent screen & good build quality. My point being that it is possible.

if you want to go sub 200 dollars chinese phones are the prime choices you can ger 4gb dd4x ram even 6gb of ram, and even 64gm rom bigger batteries anywhere between 3000mah to 5000mah and cpus between mtk 6753 to p25 large brand cant handle value for money very well

Why are there so many shitty midrange phones?
The only option one has is Samsung J series or Xiaomi.
Huawei has become overpriced.

You can get large text on any Sony phone and most android phones.
The camera isn't the best though.
