First Impression of Aqaba, Jordan 🇯🇴 Indians in Jordan

JORDAN PETRA We are going to Petra, one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
There are only 2 airports in Jordan - Amman and Aqaba. We travelled from Abu Dhabi to Aqaba by Wizz Air.
Aqaba is a very beautiful port city in the south of Jordan. It is possible to travel to Aqaba from Egypt, Israel and Saudi Arabia by road.
Indians can get a visa on arrival in Jordan for just $25.
We went to Aqaba Fort and Aqaba beach. Then we went for scuba diving which was the most unique experience. We saw underwater museum. We saw many military tanks and airplanes underwater by doing scuba. We booked through Frogman Dive Center.
We also enjoyed the nightlife of Aqaba and enjoyed sunset on the beach. We went to local market and had local delicacies. There are many Indian restaurants also in Aqaba.
On our second day we travelled to Petra by JETT bus for just 15 JOD per person, which is about Rs 1800.
How to reach Petra from Amman or Aqaba:
JETT Bus: 10 JD (Amman-Petra), 15 JD (Aqaba-Petra)
Taxi: Approx 60 JD one side
Local Bus: 7 JD (not recommended)

Local SIM in Jordan: You can buy Zain or Orange SIM cards at airport (not open in early morning/late night)
Currency in Jordan: Jordanian Dinar (JOD)
1 US$ = 0.71 JOD
1 JOD = ₹ 117
You can carry USD cash to Jordan and exchange for JOD at many exchange shops in the city like Alawneh exchange or Western Union.
