It’s the 1970’s and the lights are dim and I’m slow dancing with my boyfriend, ( who became my husband )with this song in the background. We were divorced after 22 years together but the memories of days gone by still linger . He passed away in 2004. I wish I had told him that despite the way things ended, I would do it all again. RIP to him and to Donny Hathaway. A very talented singer, gone too soon. 🙏

My Dad and Mom went too see Donny Hathaway in concert at the fisher theater in Detroit in 1972 and my mom said Donny Hathaway sing better live and had audience standing up clapping and singing his song with him and my mom said that greatest concert she been too and she cried when Donny sing a song for you.
