Misato is best girl. Rei is 2nd. As for Rei's personality, I'd say you're kinda right. You do see her slowly coming out of her shell and being not so introverted and cold. But then she sacrificed herself to save Shinji and a 3rd Rei is introduced with none of what little character growth Rei 2 developed.

ive got a version of this it came in a bigger box with a ton of accessory's (including a hand that has the cuffs moulded in they dont have any articulation but it makes the cuffs filled in on both sides) and it has way better colours especially in the hair
