6/12/23: Hi Sherry. Yesterday I came across this box and it is one in which I needed for some cards I made. I tried another "recipe", but it didn't work because it was too small for the cards I made. Nevertheless, when I was done making this one, it was perfection as its best and the papers I used, Graphic 45 vintage, really made it pop! The only thing was that the top lid fit too snuggly, and I had to make another one increasing the measurements a tiny bit. It may have been the chipboard I used was rather thick. Anyway, thank you so much for all your inspirations I have watched and learned from you over the years. You and your tutorials are awesome!
I want to thank you for this tutorial. I made these boxes with cards & envelopes for all the Mom’s in my life for Mother’s Day. Each box had 15 sketch cards with envelopes. I had no idea how much this meant to them until they all called me when they got it. Your instructions are so well laid out, that it didn’t even make a difference when I shortened the height of the box by 1 inch (usually when I go off ‘script’ I’ll generally mess it up!). Anyway, thanks again, loved this project!

That frog is too much! rib it rib it. These boxes so stinkin' cute! I will make them to hold the happy mail I am sending to grandchildren for Easter. I wanted to tell you that you have inspired me to branch out. To go along with some Rossi flamingo paper purses I made for some very special nurses, I made a tiny box with velcro dot to hold a travel size pack of tissues. I am just giddy looking at the set. I am loving this whole "set".... cards, card set boxes, and now this to keep them in.
- I haven't seen my friends and family for a long time... some it's been many years... and I no longer really know them. So the other day I sent them each "20 questions" to get to know a bit about their current likes and dislikes, especially when it comes to decorating or colours. Now I can make them gifts that they'll like. I'm thinking that sets like these would be the perfect way for me to reconnect with them. I might make a couple of tag boxes (with tags) to go with one set of cards so they have a set for every occasion they may want to use a card for. None of the books of paper that I have contain tags, so I'll have to make my own, but that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
- You have such relaxed way of teaching that makes grasping concepts really easy. Plus the things that you make are very inspirational.

As usual, another darling project! Love that it holds so many cards. I have my handmade cards stuck in a drawer.. this will be perfect to put them in and they can sit out in plain sight for a beautiful decorator piece! I would love to see a similar box that would hold #10 sized envelopes, as my husband stacks the bills to be paid up on an office stacker thing that sits out in our dining area and it's kind of ugly! A pretty box to put them in would be so awesome - one that he can handle without it being fru fru or flimsy. I'd sure love to get those bills out of sight. He insists they be there to remind him to pay them!

Sherry these are so cute. I am watching …. I have to figure out the size of cards when I hear them in their formal or metric sizing I think it is. I love my new printer says North American Setting lol. 4” by 6”, 8” by 10”, 5” by 7” or 3” by 5” you get it… lol.
All the years going to the office supply or printer or card-stock store for envelopes I never liked to use the standard name. I could pick them out lol. Just didn’t set with me. Lol 😂 So funny, just made me laugh. Silly, but I just like the other way to remember.

@@ThePoshPaperLady Thank you so much Sherry. Question please....if I wanted to decoupage this box or any other box, would you suggest enlarging the measurements of the lid or should it still fit? My older mind is having trouble doing the math, lol. I thought of making this one for you for all that you do for all of us!
I really can't say. Try it with practice paper and see.
I was just thinking..... about how I purchased about 10 different boxes on after Christmas clearance at the craft stores to take them apart to glean how they were put together so that they were strong enough for sale... When I did, I realized that they are not very sturdy construction, and your techniques are far superior for strength and longevity. 🤔🤔🤔
