seems like the injustice universe is part of the MK vs DCU timeline, i think this is WBs way of merging the MK franchise they bought back in 2009 with their other properties which i think is really cool, i like the idea that MK would be part of the DC franchise and eventually becomes part of their universe at least in terms of that their realms can be separate but can also be able to cross over to the DCU canonically.
Honestly, with MK11: Aftermath adding in Shang Tsung, I'd love to see him as a DLC in Injustice 3. His craftyness and cunning would send shivers down everyone's spine. And imagine if they added Quan Chi as well, we could have the Deadly Alliance.

i dont see anything wrong with that, netherealm has gotten better at making fighting games after MK vs DCU hell MK vs DCU was the reason we even have story modes like this in fighting games, like with the ESRB rating MK is starting another gaming trend, this is why you see other fighting games trying to do the same type of story mode cause netherealm studios started it and everyone loved the idea, street fighter 5 attempted it and marvel vs capcom infinite did it.
Most of these interactions brought a smile to my face, especially between Raiden and Superman. It's so cool seeing that the MK characters are familiar with the DC characters and vice versa. We definitely need an MK vs. DC 2 for next-gen, it'll be the greatest!
