I’m an IVF baby, along with my twin-we turned 30 a few weeks ago!! 😁
I remember her being born. I have my own ivf miracle. I thank her parents for their courage and the doctors who made it possible.
I came here after the movie and it was amazing the way they portrayed that story was heart wrenching yet so beautiful! Despite your parents being gone I thank them for their courage and bravery :)
I just watched on netflix.... seriously, some tears were shed. Luckily, I was able to conceive my children naturally currently 32 weeks with my second, but the fact that your existence was created via ivf made a way for many today is amazing. Beautiful story..❤
Looking forward to this movie. My IVF babies are now 19 and 17. ❤
I had my daughter in the normal way, but my son was born via IVF. He’s now 38 years old.
All 3 of my grandchildren are IVF. Twins boy and girl and our youngest is a boy.
LOUISE I REMEMBER YOU BEING BORN I AM AN OLDHAM LASS MYSELF REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY BLESS YOU LOUISE❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A lovely, heart warming story! Such bravery for these desperate parents! And a wonderful legacy for parents in subsequent generations to have this additional hope. Thank goodness for the persistence of science and the "joy" this brings to so many with so few options!
Just at the part of the film where Louise is born. So nice to see the breakthrough in science.
I've just watched it, it was very good.
It really is such a good film.
IVF is a great gift and the children are an extraordinary blessing!
If it wasn't for Louise my daughter wouldn't not be here, using ivf 21 years ago
Salute to her parents
It is very Joyful! ❤❤❤
They didn’t mention Louise’s sister who was also an IVF baby, she was the the first IVF baby to become a mother and had about 4 children
Because the movie is about the journey of the 1st birth.
Yeah Natalie Brown was dating an older 20 something in her teens- at 17 and 23 they had their first baby.
@@Lacherylf14 true, I just thought Louise would mention her sister when she was talking about her mum
@@lesleyhubble2976 it would be nice to see how they grew up and the challenges that I know they face.
I am related to her!
So cool
I'm from Oldham and was born in the same hospital as Louise Brown a couple of years before she was. very odd hearing my hometown get a mention in something starring Bill Nighy 😆. Also, little Trivia some might not know, Brendan O'Carroll, otherwise known as Agnes Brown from Mrs Browns Boys, got the Characters name after reading an article in a newspaper about Louise.
It was such a beautiful movie! Dr. Robert Edwards, Dr. Patrick Steptoe and say her name - JEAN PURDY!!! 👏🏻
Jean never had children and died so young, how sad. But how joyful was the result of her work: 12 million ivf children ❣️ Like the bible says: the infertile has more children than the fertile 😊
Rejoice, O barren woman, who bore not; be glad and shout, you who did not conceive; for the children of the desolate woman are more numerous than those who have a husband, declares the LORD.
Congratulations to lovely Joy, I remember the news. And Lorraine, you bring joy to viewers. You have integrity, and remain the warmest, and most delightful fun, show host on the planet🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Her name's Louise
I’m watching the movie Joy right now
Awesome.
Lorraine, you are a legend.
