KALKO ‘Okay, I Give Up’ Live at Mercury Lounge

Anton Chekhov isn’t usually cited as a singer-songwriter’s influence, but thirty seconds into Kalko’s first single “My Demise” you feel it. Her songs are a perfect blend of heavy and light, raw emotion mixed with a dash of old Hollywood romanticism.
Born in Belarus and raised in Philadelphia, Kalko learned to write songs by working her way through The Beatles classics on guitar. Her debut EP ‘Yellow and Blue’ is set to release in Fall 2018.
