It's crazy to think that Basim was still sealed in a temple while Altair was top dogging the middle east. Would of loved to see how the Assassin's of Masyaf would react to an old Hidden One from Alamut.
Altair and Ezio share the same faces as Desmond. Originally they were related, before the retcon of Altair from his mother's side. And Ezio from his father's side.
@@vvs1203 honestly same, I’m so happy AC1 can now get custom outfits and character models ported in. I suppose it was so hard to figure out because Altair didn’t have different outfits to replace just different assassin ranks so they had to replace those. Hopefully we get weapon models next!
@@cotymccollum2927 I’m not an expert on anvil toolkit modding as I just showcase these mods so take this with a grain of salt, but I believe it was due to Altair not having multiple outfits to replace so they had to figure out how to replace the rank models and I heard the bones (the thing in blender that makes character models move when animating) was horrendous to work with so I guess the new update of anvil toolkit fixed that 👌.
At the time of writing this comment the Mod showcased in this video was privated on nexus as the mod author is making additions to it/bug fixing the mod.
@@theangryimp1345 right? Can’t wait for other outfits to be ported and hopefully we get more weapon model mods! As far as I know only Basims Valhalla sword has been ported.

The mod creator would have to probably edit the mesh and find a way to add cloth physics via adding bones to the player model and exporting it from blender to anvil toolkit and repack tho even that must be far more complicated than my explanation makes it seem, I have been looking on the GitHub page of anvil toolkit to see how modding works and holy fuck it’s complicated.
@@jovakhiin omg this seems more complicated than I thought Cuz I used to do cloth and hair physics for other games as you said I used to access the 3D assets on blender and Add the Physics but for AC games it is harder to make since they are locked in a way only devs can access…
@@Cute-boy169 facts I’m still green as grass when it comes to blender and unreal engine (still don’t understand blue-print and coding in general) but modding AC games is insane, so many applications to switch between.

Basim outfit just fit perfectly in Revelations and AC1. Its like a cultural resembling robe
Mentor Or Masyaf Outfit and Old Altair in AC1 is the best, Honestly. Imagine being an old man moving around like altair did in his prime.

altair with a beard looks exactly like ezio in brotherhood.

Checked nexus weekly for a mod like this mod for a consistent year
