It is superb how you creat such different textures using plastic card, salt, a pipette and a twig. Did you apply any candle wax as I saw a clear area emerge from the dark blue horizon line? I have enormous trouble being that free. My painting matches my character, too uptight and precious and unconfident. Thank you for sharing your wonderful knowledge Karen.

Thank you for your lovely comment. So pleased you like all the textures . I do use wax resist. Not in this painting. The bit that stayed light was a dry area, so the paint did not run onto it. Try to have fun to loosen up. Keeping a sketchbook can really help 😀
