i grew up a jehovah’s witness and i love hearing people talking about this kind of thing. it’s interesting to hear how similar our experiences were although they were also different
they pulled me in with an IQ test and tried to initiate me with a dinner and some type of movie screening, my mom immediately was like ok… this Is really weird. when we declined they kept pushing and we booked it. ever since they’ve been calling and sending mail to my residence (i’ve moved several times)…. it’s been 5+ years. i’ve had phone calls straight up cursing them out WITH my parents and they act so dumb, like they’re not stalking and harassing. they called me last week for the first time in a long time, seeing this video sent chills down my spine.
Omg their persistence is total harassment! Why would they think that you would feel open to them when they are so forceful.They do not take no for an answer, its insane. I'm so sorry for your experience with them.

I don’t find the cults themselves fascinating, but rather the way a humans mind can be tricked into doing and thinking anything.. I recently watched the Netflix series “how to be a cult leader”, and it explains the whole process of the way cult leaders gain their power over a persons mindset.. it’s really crazy and very scary.. I hope you understand what I mean, and that I didn’t hurt anyone by writing this.. No one deserves to go trough such a traumatic experience..

I think about scientology sometimes because I live in CA and see them regularly. but also because I skateboard and there are unfortunately several rich skateboarders who are scientologist rubes so I stopped buying their brands of skateboards and hardware. scientologists have fleeced people in the skateboarding industry for hundreds of thousands if not millions when you include the free marketing they've done for scientology..

Only a small number of my family was actually involved and we are all out of it now, and honestly i didn't get too close to the people there so it didn't have a huge effect on my life when I left and I didn't meet anyone that was apart of Scientology after. Thanks for watching :)

I honestly had to really control myself - your experience with scientology doesnt seem THAT bad (to be 100% rwal, at times i though you were still a member and trying to downplay), but at the same time you hint at all these horrible things and we all have heard of what happens, esp. shelly and leah. your experiences you keot a bit on the down low, which i understand for privacy reasons, but it would be so interesting to hear more about how school was, but most importantly about how people treated you after you left. but if that is too personal, i completely understand. thank you for doing this, this was a 10/0 video, even if it did not make me sleepy at all :D
Some members of my family were more into Scientology than i was, such as actually working for them. Although i went to the school i always kept a bit of a distance not getting too close to the people there so maybe thats why it doesnt seem so bad. Thanks for watching!
