The stock tornado is basically what you're playing spaded. All you'll ever take is the Aim-9L's, two drop tanks if you want more than max load (if you hold WEP like me) and the flare pods. It's everything upfront lol and you do have to embrace the brick. It is just a fly through, lock the two Aim-9's with your radar for faster and accurate tracking, and just fly straight through.
Wish they would buff it or make it a bit more practical. At 11.0, it could use some more flares/chaffs or make the anti-ship missiles able to hit ground targets.
Or they could have just left it at 10.7, because in all honesty it really is a lot more comparable to the current 10.7's than it is to any current 11.0's but Gaijin will be Gaijin ig lol
Little interesting fact about the tornado. While we, the British and the other countries, were in the process of designing this magnificent aircraft. The British government was approached by either the United States government or Grumman and asked if we wanted to buy the f-14 as a stop-gap fighter. In the end we turned it down. But it is speculated that if the British had bought the F14 then other countries who we're on the fence about it may have bought it. To this end grumman had plansc for the Tomcat all the way up to a 5th generation capable f14

G heard it was "the best tornado" and then decided to move it up. Oh and also moved the other tornados to 11.3 because why not. They´re god awful, but at least they look fire.
i recommend to stay low and fast do not manuever unless there is a missile and you need to flare just keep running until they give up then pitch up and climb now you are behind the enemy planes with radars with radar guided missiles and then dive on an enemy jet and fire your missile make sure to not fire them in a furball because they are more likely to flare for your teammates missiles try and go for the people trying to run away because they are gonna be less focused on people above them and more behind them
i have the tornado ids and played it for the first time today, so stock too. The only thing that was really good about the aeroplane was the look. 10.3 would be appropriate. But it could also be because I play badly.
It certainly is not the easiest of planes to use, I would like to see it at a bit lower of a BR than it currently is for sure (at least have it be 10.7 again if it isn't already lol)
@@thesaddestdude3575 And the anti-ship missiles it’s specifically meant to carry don’t even get any real chance to be used, I don’t know if I’ve ever even seen a top-tier jet match with AI naval targets in it (at least recently)
@@BirchNova I think there is a single map in that rotation, i think there is a port in Pyrenees, but it doesn't actually matter because the missiles don't actually work. Thier targeting fails as it takes the ship as a square and homes for the center, but this is usually way above the deck and it just flies over the ship. And even if it hit it would do almost do damage, they are effectively useless.

It's a CAS plane that can't CAS but it also cant fight air battles.

Solid plane, obviously CAS, shes not the best but shes low key solid for grinding top tier germany and a kill machine if in the right hands.

All tornadoes have the lead indicator but it’s not the best but it’s still pretty good
You mean it shows hit places?
