This is great stuff in the way it is enlightening the actual complexity of all the smaller movements that come into play - pushing center of gravity(cog) forward resembles "frontfoot"-runningtechnique where you deliberately fall into your next step and try to lift your foot again as soon as your cog passes over your frontfoot... anyway I finally subscribed to basic pdlmonster membership - thanks for all the insights!!!

Tried it today on the water, much more powerful paddlestroke. My leg muscles have to get used to it , thx!

I loved reading your blog before and watching the videos afterwards. It brought me the rest partly missing understanding due to the reading. But I couldn't find an answer depends on bladesizes. Can I just take a larger paddle blade instead of tennis balls to internalize the technique with slow movements and then switch to a smaller paddle blade to have faster movements. Is it a mistake to take a one size smaller blade as the manufacturer generally recommends for my weight. Or can't I catch my weight and "fall on my board" with a to smal blade during a far and strong catch?

Changing your blade size won't do the same thing as using resistance from the tennis ball setup. These are all big questions. Reach out to Larry on the Site in Messages and he can give you some more specific guidance with your training.
