Yes you have to open new blocked account in the name you of spouse. But blocked account is for the whole period of stay as student not just for 1 year.

Hi, my answers below. 1. After anmeldung, you have to apply for "meldebescheinigung" document which you have to send a copy to your wife. This document is a confirmation of all the places you have lived in Germany. The "Meldebestätigung" is only for you. This is document is valid only for 6 months and will take 2-3 weeks to get. 2. For spouse visa you have to send a copy of your residence permit. Once she is here then you can apply for her residence permit with all the necessary documents, including you residence permit, and university certificate. The temporary visa from your passport should also be sent to her while applying for visa. 3. This is not required for applying for the visa, but only for registration after coming here. And the name of the document is "wohnungsgeberbestätigung" which the landlord should provide with both your names on it. you can ask the landlord after your spouse is here. 4. Both, She should have her own blocked account with full money, and also your account should be topped up during application. 5. Since you are studying here, part time contracts do not matter. You should have refilled the blocked account at the time of application submission. I hope this helps

@@RizkyPong Hi, That is not needed anywhere except when you register for the first time in citizen's office, you have to show them the house contract (which says how much is the area) along with the "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" document. after that when your spouse joins you, you have to get the updated "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" document with your spouse's name on it, then register her. thats all. There is nowhere they will request you directly to submit the proof for the 26m2. But you have to keep the house contract ready whenever you visit the citizen office or migrationsamt.

Ok, there is no tax problem in Germany because your spouse is not drawing salary in German bank account. Even if works remote he will be considered not working in Germany officially as he is not drawing any salary in euro in German bank account. Only Indian tax should be paid

Hi, thank you so much 😊. Please find my answers to your questions. 1. Generally the blocked account is for the first year, because most students dont got to Foreign office after that, so no one will check it. But sometimes if they ask during the 2nd yr. students just have to show them enough money (not full) in the account for survival. As a spouse on dept VISA, you also must have a blocked account with the same amount in your name. But if you are joining your spouse say after 6 months of his program, your spouse must also top up his blocked account to full and show the statement when you apply for the dependent visa. 2. You can apply along with him, if not yes, once he has a resident permit and home to stay. Then he has to apply for the document "meldebescheinigung" which is needed for you when applying dept visa. 3. Dependent VISA has less rejections but not zero. If all your documents are in order then no need to worry. I heared It will take 3-5 months now but we cannot say. 4. I got dependent visa within 3 months but my husband has PR. I know few who got dependent visa for spouse when studying like your case, but not sure they will share their contact. Spouse has to visit the office only if they specifically requested them to visit. You just have to wait for their reply. If they require additional documents then they will contact you.

Hi, the area is ok, you can apply with this, ask your wife to get "meldebescheinigung" from citizen office. But for you to actually stay there the owner has to accept, he/she has to provide "wohnungsgeberbescheinigung" document with both your name on it so that you can register after your arrival. If the owner do not agree, your wife has to find a new place for two people. without the "meldebescheinigung" you cannot apply for visa, they most likely reject it.

Meldebescheinigung - apply to citizen office, take 2-4 weeks to get depends on the city. Its not the contract, this is a certificate which says that your wife is living in this place for how long. and this document is valid only for 6 months. This document is not "meldebestätigung", which is given to your wife when she registered in the citizen office. "wohnungsgeberbescheinigung" - Is a document obtained from the house owner (after signing the contract) that states the people's name who is/will be living in the apartment. this document is only needed for registration in the citizen office. For visa application this is not needed.

So as a conclusion, For the purpose of spouse visa application, my wife need to get the Meldebescheinigung for the current room of 26m2 ( Even if the landlord not agreeing to accomodate 2 ). Hi, my answers below.
1. After anmeldung, you have to apply for "meldebescheinigung" document which you have to send a copy to your wife. This document is a confirmation of all the places you have lived in Germany. The "Meldebestätigung" is only for you. This is document is valid only for 6 months and will take 2-3 weeks to get.
2. For spouse visa you have to send a copy of your residence permit. Once she is here then you can apply for her residence permit with all the necessary documents, including you residence permit, and university certificate. The temporary visa from your passport should also be sent to her while applying for visa.
3. This is not required for applying for the visa, but only for registration after coming here. And the name of the document is "wohnungsgeberbestätigung" which the landlord should provide with both your names on it. you can ask the landlord after your spouse is here.
4. Both, She should have her own blocked account with full money, and also your account should be topped up during application.
5. Since you are studying here, part time contracts do not matter. You should have refilled the blocked account at the time of application submission.

I am still getting confused about whether any document related to a statement of 26m2 coverage area will be needed for my spouse's visa
@@RizkyPong Hi, That is not needed anywhere except when you register for the first time in citizen's office, you have to show them the house contract (which says how much is the area) along with the "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" document. after that when your spouse joins you, you have to get the updated "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" document with your spouse's name on it, then register her. thats all. There is nowhere they will request you directly to submit the proof for the 26m2. But you have to keep the house contract ready whenever you visit the citizen office or migrationsamt.
@@lazylifegermany Ah I see. So let's say that i live in a WG or flatshare right now with a total area, let's say around only 20m2. And then i have already had the "meldebescheinigung" that states my current WG address, I just sent it to my wife, right?
I just need to make sure that before my wife arrival, i have to find a new WG or apartment that will cover 26m2 because it will affect the "Wohnungsgeberbestätigung" and my wife's anmeldung and residence permit process. Is my understanding right?

Ok, there is no tax problem in Germany because your spouse is not drawing salary in German bank account. Even if works remote he will be considered not working in Germany officially as he is not drawing any salary in euro in German bank account. Only Indian tax should be paid

1. Blocked account:
His course is for 18 months so does the blocked account need to show money sufficient for 18 months or for 1 year (11,2-8).
Do I need to show my husbands blocked account during the dependent visa application or will I need to make a new blocked account?
2. I will have to apply for the dependent visa once he has a residence permit in hand?
3. How long does it take to get the dependent visa? Is there a possibility of rejections?
4. Do you know of anyone who has successfully got a dependent visa? Would love to speak to someone as I am a little concerned.

Hi, thank you so much 😊. Please find my answers to your questions.
1. Generally the blocked account is for the first year, because most students dont got to Foreign office after that, so no one will check it. But sometimes if they ask during the 2nd yr. students just have to show them enough money (not full) in the account for survival. As a spouse on dept VISA, you also must have a blocked account with the same amount in your name. But if you are joining your spouse say after 6 months of his program, your spouse must also top up his blocked account to full and show the statement when you apply for the dependent visa.
2. You can apply along with him, if not yes, once he has a resident permit and home to stay. Then he has to apply for the document "meldebescheinigung" which is needed for you when applying dept visa.
3. Dependent VISA has less rejections but not zero. If all your documents are in order then no need to worry. I heared It will take 3-5 months now but we cannot say.
4. I got dependent visa within 3 months but my husband has PR. I know few who got dependent visa for spouse when studying like your case, but not sure they will share their contact. But please contact me in Instagram, i will check with them again when i have time and let you know.

For all 3 questions Yes. If you have time to apply along with spouse then you can dot it. Only thing is you should be married at the time of visa application. You need the blocked account at the time of application for visa.

The spouse in India had submitted visa application via VFS. During the visa processing stage. Dose the spouse in Germany need to visit the visa office along with the documents ? Or is it necessarily not required? Actually in our case the spouse in Germany got an e-Mail to submit some documents via email. We are actually curious about what may be the next steps.(Student Dependent visa category). Is it commonly require to visit the visa office in Germany for the same ?
Hi, Thank you so much. It is not necessary to visit the visa office by spouse in germany. Once the spouse sends the requested documents via email, they will start processing. Spouse has to visit the office only if they specifically requested them to visit. You just have to wait for their reply. If they require additional documents then they will contact you.

Or is it required to move to a new apartment other than a student apartment? Please comment your views on this. ( Does the room needs 2 persons contract. Or the above room is enough ? )

Hi, the area is ok, you can apply with this, ask your wife to get "meldebescheinigung" from citizen office. But for you to actually stay there the owner has to accept, he/she has to provide "wohnungsgeberbescheinigung" document with both your name on it so that you can register after your arrival. If the owner do not agree, your wife has to find a new place for two people. without the "meldebescheinigung" you cannot apply for visa, they most likely reject it.

Meldebescheinigung - apply to citizen office, take 2-4 weeks to get depends on the city. Its not the contract, this is a certificate which says that your wife is living in this place for how long. and this document is valid only for 6 months. This document is not "meldebestätigung", which is given to your wife when she registered in the citizen office.
"wohnungsgeberbescheinigung" - Is a document obtained from the house owner (after signing the contract) that states the people's name who is/will be living in the apartment. this document is only needed for registration in the citizen office. For visa application this is not needed.

So as a conclusion,
For the purpose of spouse visa application, my wife need to get the Meldebescheinigung for the current room of 26m2 ( Even if the landlord not agreeing to accomodate 2 ). So the visa process will not be impacted.
After i got the visa , we could find a place that both of us could stay and do the registration and the remaining procedures..

Yes possible if your spouse applies before you get into a job then he will have to apply with blocked account, because you are still a student. After getting a job and you get the work permit then no need for blocked account.
