What if one gets a supply in first semester but later clear it n at the end his/her cgpa is the highest? Will he/she be eligible for gold medals or ranks in general?….im talking specifically about hptu btech course….i read the hptu guidelines for award of medals n it says ‘they have passed every scheduled course in furst attempt’ its one of the criteria….can u pls check whether is it followed or not?

My university has a rule for providing the PG and the UG topper with gold medals. I have topped my department from the university as well as the colleges that teach on masters level in PG. I'm also preparing for PhD jrf. However, although my teachers have confirmed that I'm the topper, they've not told me anything about awarding the gold medal. As much as I have heard, the last time they awarded students with gold medals was on 2019 and since that as at least one semester was conducted online mode, they didn't do anything. Now all 4 of my semesters have been offline, shouldn't I get it?

According to my knowledge and Whatever written in rules it's not possible to be a gold medalist below 10 students although one can be honoured with a merit certificate . Bki toh pta nhi kyu mila h unhe koi different criteria ho may be (out of my knowledge)

It depends on your university criteria some universities just need one to complete their degree within stipulated time period , with high aggregate percentage at the end of the degree. Others requires you to clear it in first attention with highest percentage at the end.

If you percentage is highest in your course , toh automatically apki cgpa bhi sbse highest ho hogi . Toh gold medal apko hi milna chaiye .

Generally , in maximum cases students with first position are invited to convocation by their own University . If in case , there is no such situation contact your college / University adminstration.
