I simply cannot be a Boone hater, just never have been on the coaching problem thing for any sport, everyone always calls for a coach to be fired just for the team to do worse or the same when they are.
A coach gets too much credit when the team wins and gets too much blame when they lose. Boone has actually done a good job managing the team despite injuries.

I feel like there is a disconnect between Dillon Lawson, and the Yankees organization with hitting the ball hard without putting the ball into contact which plays into DJs strengths. For some players, it works with your contact players like DJ. And even Donaldson going back to his approach from last year and ditching what he was told to do is a bad sign regarding the Yankees hitting philosophy
