Help! The pirates have boarded my aquarium!
The last adventure has been passed, the ship with the black sails sails away in the distance, the pirates have laid down their weapons and are enjoying their lives. Drink up! Yay! The famous compass lies at the bottom of the sea... and who knows? Maybe it points to a new adventure...? ;-)
If you can think of a nice story of your own to go with this scene, feel free to write it in the comments. Let your imagination run wild. I can't wait to hear your thoughts.
Because I am often asked, here is some more information about the tank:
It has a capacity of 300 litres (79 gallons), was put into operation in September 2021, the water values are PH 6.8 - 7, the water is medium hard (7-12 GH), it has NO heating, the light is on for a total of 11 hours with a 3-hour lunch break, the lamp is a JBL Daylight LED, it is fertilised a little with CO2 but not very much, the filter is an OASE BioMaster 600. I do partial water changes every 4 - 6 weeks depending on requirements and water values. And I fertilise the plants regularly because otherwise they would "starve". ;-)
Incidentally, the following aquatic inhabitants can be seen in this aquarium:
    Swordtail "Lyra" - Xiphophorus hellerii
Platy "Blue Butterfly Micky Mouse" - Xiphophorus maculatus
Guppy "Snow White" - Poecilia reticulata
    Glowlight danio - Danio choprae
    Marbled catfish - Corydoras paleatus
    Blue neon - Paracheirodon simulans
    Algae shrimps - Neocaridina davidi
Red claw shrimps (long-armed shrimps) - Macrobrachium peguensis
And as a big special: Red-bellied toads - Bombina orientalis
Have fun and relax while watching.

    Echte Fische! Keine Animation! :-)
Hilfe!
Platy "Blue Butterfly Micky Mouse" - Xiphophorus maculatus
Guppy "Snow White" - Poecilia reticulata
    Glühlichtbärbling/ Rubinbärbling - Danio choprae
    Marmorpanzerwelse - Corydoras paleatus
    Blaue Neon - Paracheirodon simulans
Algengarnelen (schätzungsweise 1.000 Stück :-D) - Neocaridina davidi
    Rotscherengarnelen (Langarmgarnelen) - Macrobrachium peguensis
Und als großes Special: Rotbauchunken - Bombina orientalis
Viel Spaß und Entspannung beim Anschauen.

I REALLY enjoy looking at your aquarium! I think you've really successfully integrated the pirate decor in with your live plants. It adds a lot of character and whimsy. And I like that you had a story. Why wouldn't some of your pirates want to stay behind here! I would. :) Perhaps the black sails ship is hiding treasure at multiple locations and some crew had to stay behind to guard it and build the first of many communities in a vast network of island communities. Another pirate hiding as lookout in the jungle would be fun. I'm enjoying this all as I work and it's bringing some colour and fun to my day, thank you for sharing! :)

Thank you very much for the lovely compliments. I am happy when other people like it too. Yes, it's also very reassuring when you work or study on the side. :-)
And the story about the island communities is super cool! Yes, maybe I'll create another decoration with pirates later. Thanks for the idea with the lookout. Hahaha...
But there are definitely other themes planned, such as a Buddha scene or SpongeBob. And of course a purely natural aquarium. I'll just experiment a bit. Have fun looking at it. :-)

Can you please tell me what is the black plant on the right side? It is so so pretty and unusual. Also, your snow white guppies love to play together in the current. So adorable. :) Also curious how many gallons your tank is?

You must mean the plant behind the compass, which is also on the left-hand side, right? That's a Cryptocoryne, but I don't know exactly which one. I bought it over 20 years ago. I suspect it's a Cryptocoryne wendti. The aquarium has about 79 gallons = 300 litres.
Most of the fish love the current. Especially the brown ones with the red stripes, they are "Danio choprai" and they originally live in rivers.

Oh, thank you so much for the compliment. To be honest, I don't know how to sell a video. Is there any site where I can read about this? I create the videos primarily because I enjoy it and like to share it with other people. :-) May I ask what kind of website you have?
