Listening to Jedd is always so inspiring. I love his chord voicings. His pallet of effects seems literally endless, and his ability to switch them on the fly is incredible. I've pretty much been a tele straight into the amp kind of player my whole life. Jedd makes me want a do-over. The versatility is amazing.
I first heard him several years ago playing through a bunch of tweed Magic Amps. This guy has the amazing talent of always playing music, even when he’s noodling or fooling around. Just a tremendously creative and musical beast of a guitarist.
Saw Zac interview him. I really like what he does! Those acoustic guitars are nice and I love the fact that he built the Telecaster with his son. My brother and I built a Les Paul Standard from Fretwire and it was a rewarding experience!
WOW that was KILLER! Jedd is a Telemeister for sure! Soundscapes to die for and ears like a bat .So nice to taste the Tones! Nice job John B. Jedd come to Cincinnati
Beautiful stuff, inspiring as hell. So educational on real-world gig issues with the EQ bits. Especially with his acoustic rig. Jed’s subtle humor about having kids or those precious moments with them, and dealing with random sound-people is so relatable. “soundguy hungover or breaking up with his girlfriend” I was dying laughing because I’ve experienced it as well 🤣 Thank you for this great rundown.
Love the story of building a guitar for his son during the pandemic. My son and I did the same, except he plays bass and wanted a fretless J bass ... also in sonic blue nitro.
Jesus Murphy I cant believe Bollinger just said "adroit"... that's probably the coolest vocabulary with a calm tone since Andy Dufresne called the warden obtuse in Shawshank redemption
I’m 3/4 way through this and loving it. Very deserved Jedd! You mentioned fellow Aussie Mark Punch. Maybe 8 years ago I heard him with a singer opening here in New Zealand (maybe for Bonnie Raitt?). I didn’t know who he was on the night, or even know the name. But within 4 or 8 bars of hearing him pay it was evident he played at a level you rarely hear.
Just my two cents.....there is no comparison with KU, other than them both being from Australia. Jedd is the king. Amazing guitarist, singer and killer songs.
Love this one my friends. Jedd is so dang good. That Gibson/Fender cab amp sounds damn good. Thanks for the right hand compliment at the guitar Franklin show Jedd. Been fighting trigger finger since then tho. Love you guys. Peace ✌️
Folks who want to hear more of what comes from those golden hands of Jedd's and also hear some of his great songs should check out his TH-cam channel. www.youtube.com/@JeddHughesOfficial
John and the Rig Rundown turned me on to the genius of Tom Bukovac, who in turn introduced me to Jedd. Sure wish I could have been at this gig! Jedd is a seriously inspiring musician and one of my favorite guitar players.
I have this sick fantasy that guys like Jed and Bukovac -- so humble and sweet online are really jerks and stuck up "Star types"...lol...But I realize those two are really humble beyond reason...go figure....nice interview.
I’m good friends with Kevin Shaw. That’s buffer splitter he makes is unbelievable- it’s a better maker. like most of his amps and everything else he touches. Even hot rods!
Walter, thanks for the review. Can you just plug the guitar in and not turn it on to not use any of the effects? I have a pedal board and only need the piezo amplification. Thank you!

God i love this...you beautiful bastards
Coincidently, you are one of those beautiful bastards!
Agreed 100%
Shining some beautiful light on some beautiful people.
I found Larry/Tom via that rig rundown. And I found Jedd via Larry. Full circle now, all in the family
@@ddw132I go back to that once a year or so and still glean some new sage advice from it.
@16:15 "Cars, children, guitars...everything's just on the verge of falling apart." Such a lovely, humble spirit!
The rig rundowns for the session cats are the best. So much talent, so much tone, so many smiles
One of my favourite guitar players and people in this world. So pleased to see him featured. Nice work Premier Guitar!
Jedd is ridiculously talented! Gotta respect a musician at his level who made his own tele!! Hands of gold!! Thanks for this one, John!!

Jedd is easily one of my favourite guitarists alive... I love how musical he is. Don't get me wrong, he can throw down too!
Yo so happy for Jedd. Folks this is hands down one of the best guitarists in the world. So underrated.
Jed seems like THEE best dude. Quite a fan of his channel.
Jedd has created my absolute favorite sound. Just pulls you into another realm. Everything he does is magic.
Jedd is a rockstar. Just love all he is doing.
This is the chap who did Animal Eyes ! What a bloody tune from the man in the shed !
I first heard him several years ago playing through a bunch of tweed Magic Amps. This guy has the amazing talent of always playing music, even when he’s noodling or fooling around. Just a tremendously creative and musical beast of a guitarist.
Truly love the humbleness of Jedd! What a killer guitar player!!
So, it's either Jedd becomes the guitar, or the guitar becomes Jedd. Doesn't matter.. music is what comes out! Love the guy! Nice episode!
Jedd made me smile saying, "When I show up...to make NOISE!" :)
Saw Zac interview him. I really like what he does! Those acoustic guitars are nice and I love the fact that he built the Telecaster with his son. My brother and I built a Les Paul Standard from Fretwire and it was a rewarding experience!
This is awesome. I’d love to see you guys do more content with Jedd in the future! It’d be cool to see John and Jedd jam together 🤘
that would be fun!
That intro jam was beautiful. Maybe my favorite of all time. Thats how you play the guitar 💯
Jedd is amazingly talented and it is a treat to hear his creative spin on things.
I love Jedd’s playing. I hope he gets some great gigs. Such a creative player!
One of my very favorite players. Great composer, great singer, killer player.
it's rare these days for me to get lost in a guy's guitar playing, but just listening to this guy gets me there. Great feel and dynamics.
Love the tone of the old nylon string del vechio
I'm so excited for this! Finally!!! I love Jedd's playing.
WOW that was KILLER! Jedd is a Telemeister for sure! Soundscapes to die for and ears like a bat .So nice to taste the Tones! Nice job John B. Jedd come to Cincinnati
Ooh.. I like that Shadow Box.
I already use a graphic eq, but would not mind something like that
Beautiful intro! Very creative dude! Musically and building wise! Thanks for sharing!

So good! You truly are an inspiration fellow Aussie Jedd! Just amazing!
Jed is just such a great cat - and such a killer songsmith & player. Gessh! Great voice, too. Love that dude!
Love the story of building a guitar for his son during the pandemic. My son and I did the same, except he plays bass and wanted a fretless J bass ... also in sonic blue nitro.
Wow! What a guy! Never heard of him before i saw this video, but super chill vibes, and great player. ✌
Great rundown for the love of tone
Jesus Murphy I cant believe Bollinger just said "adroit"... that's probably the coolest vocabulary with a calm tone since Andy Dufresne called the warden obtuse in Shawshank redemption
I have been waiting for this ever since the teaser! So excited!
One hell of an acoustic player as well. Love his channel!
I just saw Jedd at 3rd and Lindsley. Made the overnight trip from Raleigh to Nashville for the occasion, and it was well worth it.
Love it ❤
Really, really nice! Thanks for tweaking the rig run down format so we can actually hear things now, instead of hearing people talking about things 😸!
Love this. Thank you! Cheers
Our pleasure!
This has made my year!!! I fucking love Jedd Hughes. He is just fire!!
This was so good! I kept thinking and hoping John was going to jam along with Jedd.
I’m 3/4 way through this and loving it. Very deserved Jedd! You mentioned fellow Aussie Mark Punch. Maybe 8 years ago I heard him with a singer opening here in New Zealand (maybe for Bonnie Raitt?). Love ya , dude !
Been watching / listening out for you from West Oz for years !
And your mate Buk keeps me in touch with you too .
Bohlinger is the best, let him do ALL the rig rundowns. No F-bombs and talking over the guests like the other guys.
Jedd's an awesome player and person!!
Great interview and very informative . Jedd knows the sound every setting was sweet !
JEDD! So cool!
Great Job Man Thankyou ❤❤❤
Giving the people what they want!

You want people to come up to you and ask you what your t-shirt means …get yourself a ..Jedd in the shed ..t-shirt ..I love mine 👍
I applaud him for being ok letting the ‘57 go.
I’m good friends with Kevin Shaw. That’s buffer splitter he makes is unbelievable- it’s a better maker. like most of his amps and everything else he touches. Even hot rods!
Greer make the best pedals there awsome!
Walter, thanks for the review. Can you just plug the guitar in and not turn it on to not use any of the effects? I have a pedal board and only need the piezo amplification. Thank you!
What’s the neck pickup on that b-bender partscaster tele? I couldn’t really catch it.
Ron Ellis. He coined it "killer" because it's what Jedd always says. 👍
Ron Ellis ‘Killa’ (sic). Lovely punchy pickup.
Blk Oydyssy for a rig rundown🔥
👏👏👏👏

Jedd was 25 during your story of him being a “kid” John.
To me, 25 is a kid.
@@johnbohlinger This was you 17 years ago.
Ketucky's own Patty Loveless.
Check out Jedd with Sara Buxton (Uncle Larry’s better half)
