- Let's take a look at the tallest buildings in the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia! Philadelphia is also home to the tallest building in the US outside of New York City and Chicago! All information is from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). Hope you enjoy! ;)

Finally, The Birthplace of USA is finally getting a city skyline. The buildings are massive and beautiful and perfectly constructed. The Comcast Center, One Liberty Place and others can now be light up in red, white and blue in the Philly sky.
Yep. Did you also hear about the Schuylkill Yards project? They will be building a lot of skyscrapers there, including Transit Terminal Tower which would become the tallest in the city at 1,200 feet.

1960's and 70's Philly hurt itself growth wise with the no building taller than the great statue of William Penn on city Hall (548'). Many builders when elsewhere.Still some restrictions, but doing a pretty good job making a real skyline.
Philly has a decent skyline. Definitely not as big or as nice as NYC's or Chicago's, but it's pretty good for a city its size.

The addition of THE LAUREL at 604ft. recently, has displaced COMMERCE SQURE TOWERS at 572ft. from this 2020 top ten list.

Philadelphia has a decent skyline. It's obviously not as good as New York or Chicago's but definitely deserves a spot in the top 10. Thanks for watching!
Eh I like New York and Chicago skyline but Atlanta my favorite
@@Red-pt6rs Atlanta has a decent skyline, but it doesn't have the same scale, history, or various styles of architecture that New York and Chicago have. That's not to say that Atlanta has a bad skyline, as there is some decent architecture there. Thanks for watching! :)
Philly actually comes in at #12 for most completed skyscrapers. (492 feet and higher) Atlanta is at number 10. Which means, Atlanta has a slightly larger skyline, but not on a dense scale like Philadelphia.
