The way I see it, Heath's passing is nothing short of tragic and unfair. But the beautiful thing about his life is that parts of it can be seen through his acting career. In this sense, Heath is immortal, he lives on forever. And I wouldn't have that any other way. Rest well, Heath. We really do miss you.

In regards to Aboriginal tradition it apparently causes infertility among women. There was a huge backlash when Nicole Kidman did it a few years ago on a talkshow. I'm not sure if it's disrespectful to the Aboriginal people, or just bad luck to those who play it.
I know this comment is 12 years old but in case anyone reading this doesn't know, playing the didgeridoo in no way causes infertility and has no adverse effects to anyone who plays it. The only thing that will happen from playing the didgeridoo is that you'll have more lung capacity and less sleep apnea, as playing the didgeridoo has actually been found to treat mild to moderate OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). There are mobs (groups of Aboriginal people associated with a particular place) who still hold these beliefs and mobs who don't - Yes, there are Aboriginal people who have no issue with women playing the didge. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter unless you are visiting or living with one of the mobs that still holds these beliefs (in which case you should respect them). But for everyone else in the world? Why should they be held to the standards of the mobs who hold these beliefs? It doesn't make any sense.
