I see people I know, and we hug with joy to see each other. God, family, and country are great values to have. You will find that you love each other no matter race, color, sex, religion, and age. Our local grocery store will allow families to have a hot dog sale to raise money for cancer treatments, and the community will help them. It is wonderful to live in a small town.

I have never been shown more respect as a human being than when i go into town, where my property is. Its how are you doing sir. How is your day going sir. Did you find everything you needed sir. Hell, i was replacing my truck battery outside of a Walmart. I had 4 people passing by ask me if i needed any help. People wave to you as you pass by in your vehicles. If they are in front of their homes as you oass by they wave. Just kindness, being polite, and respectful. I never had any of those things happen to me in the 30 years i lived in D.C. Went to the liquor store today, in my small town, to buy a bottle of wine to take to a dinner I was invited to and the clerk (Viet Nam Vet) was openly packing. We haven't felt the need for that before, but times are unsettled and people are taking precautions. He is right about a small town, I live in a small town in Ky. & a couple weeks ago a Man came into town with Indiana Plates, it was late on a weeknight, he tried to get 2 Women at the local laundromat to get in his SUV< said he was Police, he followed them home then was gone by the time Police arrived, next day in the middle of the day, he drove down a nearby street & tried to get a 12 year old girl in his car, people on the street confronted him & called the Sheriff, he drove off & passed Police on the way out of town, he got out of their site as he entered the main road a 2 & 4 lane hwy, a lady from town was driving down that road & someone called her to tell her what was going on, she passed him and turned around & chased him, as the Police were way behind still catching up, he crashed his vehicle running it up on a rail on the side of the road, she pulled over & he tried to get out & she pulled Mace on him & made him sit still to Authorities arrived.

I was among people who didn't even know Baltimore city police officer Keona Holley who was a black female police officer who was ambushed sitting in her patrol car in South Baltimore who was mourning when I heard about it. I live in a small town with 36% black population (according to the census) and feel very proud of where I am. People here care about one another, no matter what race. We look out for each other, check on the neighbors, especially the elderly/disabled, and care about where we live. I'm not saying there's no crime, but it's a place that you could safely leave your doors unlocked if you wanted. I know we can count on our friends and neighbors without race being a factor.

We had a mentality of that happened a long time ago and we were kids and it was over and were just living now. I moved North when I got older and “that’s” when I began hearing Southern people, myself included were racist. I see people I know, and we hug with joy to see each other. God, family, and country are great values to have. You will find that you love each other no matter race, color, sex, religion, and age. Our local grocery store will allow families to have a hot dog sale to raise money for cancer treatments, and the community will help them. It is wonderful to live in a small town.

Went to the liquor store today, in my small town, to buy a bottle of wine to take to a dinner I was invited to and the clerk (Viet Nam Vet) was openly packing. He is right about a small town, I live in a small town in Ky. & a couple weeks ago a Man came into town with Indiana Plates, it was late on a weeknight, he tried to get 2 Women at the local laundromat to get in his SUV< said he was Police, he followed them home then was gone by the time Police arrived, next day in the middle of the day, he drove down a nearby street & tried to get a 12 year old girl in his car, people on the street confronted him & called the Sheriff, he drove off & passed Police on the way out of town, he got out of their site as he entered the main road a 2 & 4 lane hwy, a lady from town was driving down that road & someone called her to tell her what was going on, she passed him and turned around & chased him, as the Police were way behind still catching up, he crashed his vehicle running it up on a rail on the side of the road, she pulled over & he tried to get out & she pulled Mace on him & made him sit still to Authorities arrived.

I moved out of Baltimore several years ago because of the constant gun violence and moved to a small town. I was among people who didn't even know Baltimore city police officer Keona Holley who was a black female police officer who was ambushed sitting in her patrol car in South Baltimore who was mourning when I heard about it. And my heart aches for her family. People in small towns do not harm police officers.

I live in a small town with 36% black population (according to the census) and feel very proud of where I am. People here care about one another, no matter what race. We look out for each other, check on the neighbors, especially the elderly/disabled, and care about where we live. I'm not saying there's no crime, but it's a place that you could safely leave your doors unlocked if you wanted. I know we can count on our friends and neighbors without race being a factor.

We had a mentality of that happened a long time ago and we were kids and it was over and were just living now. I moved North when I got older and “that’s” when I began hearing Southern people, myself included were racist. As my Nana used to say you’re a stupid people, smart people in all races, religions and creeds sad truth we do the race card when we should say we have problems we need to correct together. I have a very nice couple who are black-and-white who support a totally different presidential candidate than me and I still know enough to have respect. These people have helped me out when I was homeless, even though I’m working full-time I left a bad house in hopes to get back on my feet. Even though I was always compassionate to people. I try to be more specially with people having a very tight budget, elderly struggling through things just wish I had more money myself cut down on the stress.
