The 365 nm black light is great for watch photography because it excites the lume but doesn't turn everything purple. (That was crazy how it turned your ceramic watch dark!)
The filter is the key. Lots of UV lights have good wavelength… This is the only brand I know of that has an additional filter to make the light pure. They make a bigger version… But I think I’m fine with just a small one.

I was shocked too 😳
I did not know the difference in blacklight wave lengths that was very cool to learn thanks for making this video!
I learned something new too. 👍🏼
Looking forward to this one I need a UV light
Great 👍🏼
I just bought a UV light at Harbor freight BRAUN $5.99 great product and price 👍👍
@juniorjohnson5961 Can’t beat that price.
I know you like Tungsten watches Steinhart just released one.
I’m trying to figure out if the entire bezel is tungsten?… Or just the border (and the insert is a different material)?
@@PocketWatchTime I haven't really looked at the watch much just saw it said Tungsten & thought of you.
For all you people who just want a nice reasonable priced UV light Braun make one that i bought at Harbor freight $5.99 I'm happy with it 👍
Definitely a good price.
I took a better look at the Steinhart it's just the bezel that's tungsten 😢
Might pick this up, like you I got a cheap one. No idea what spectrum of light it is.
