Correctiion : the restaurant "Daniel et Denise" do not have a michelin star (usualy for more fancy restaurant ), the distinction they have is a Bib gourmand which is one grade for the best price-quality ratio.

Thanks for pointing this out. Many restaurants are recommended and acknowledged by Michelin without being awarded a star. Often, the major difference between a one-star restaurant and an establishment solely mentioned in the guide isn't about the quality of the meal itself. The star signals that, apart from excellent food, you can expect a 'fine dining-experience' in a wider sense.

Lyon the food capital ? Perhaps for french cuisine. But even for french cuisine I'm note sure about that. The french city where you can eat french specialities from all over France is Paris. And in Paris you can eat good food from all over the world much more than in Lyon. But in Lyon, they have very good specialities and the cuisine from this region is very good. But if you want to eat french cuisine from the south west, you have to go to the south west of France or... to Paris

Guess the moral of the story is that there is good food everywhere in France!

Be careful with the cheese in France; they have Brucellosis. What you find in markets are not regulated. Looks nice, but quite detrimental.

You are talking nonsense and scaring people unnecessarily. How many human cases are there in France?
In France, the number of human cases reported each year for the past ten years is around 30. Indigenous sources of contamination have disappeared in France due to measures to control animal brucellosis.
The majority (80%) are "imported" cases, contaminated during a stay in a country where the animal disease is present and not controlled. 30% of patients reported direct contact with ruminants during their stay. Eleven (55%) out of 20 reported the consumption of raw milk or cheese made from raw milk in the country of stay.
The only "indigenous" human case identified in France in 2011 corresponded to the reactivation of an old infection contracted while animal brucellosis was still present in France.
