      It is a great "commuter" style EBike, since it's heavy duty enough and fast enough for day to day use.

      my need is similar. I have issues walking these days. I fish often. The walking limitations really affect my range from the parking lot. An ebike is exactly what I need to add much more fun back.
      I really am impressed with what the Heybike folding models offer. I can have one and so can my wife who also has physical limits these days. We both miss being outdoors. Being able to walk no more than about100yrds before I have to stop (her too) has been very frustrating to say the least.
      Anyway we both have put Heybike at the top 3 brands of folding bikes.

    Hi Brian. I am 6"5". Do you think I would sit close to upright or would I be bending forward a bit to ride this bike? It looks great, but due to some neck issues I need to be pretty close to sitting up straight. Thanks for the great review.

    There is an easier brake adjustment. It also works for when the pads wear. There's an Allen adjustment on the back side of the caliper that you turn that closes the gap between the pad and the rotor or disc. Just for future adjustments for ya.

    Hi Brian
    I have been watching u all night unboxing and & drive it heybike explore that’s nice
    I was so confused before what electric I was gonna choose do after I watch ur video I made my mind
    And then I order one at the same time 😊.
    I will receive mine July 7
    My questions to you
    What’s the best accessories for the back bag and the phone bag mount it looks like it’s not going to attach because of the bottle holder also what’s the best side mirror that will attach the heybike explore

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome! Glad you've got one coming. I just rode mine last night too! Good luck, and enjoy!
      As for your question about the "Back Bag" and "Phone Bag Mount" and "Side Mirror"...
      I haven't used any of those, so I don't think my advice will be all that helpful, BUT I can say, Heybike has quite a lot of accessories here... bprc.me/HeyBike_Assessories
      OR here's where I would start looking...
      amzn.to/3pGn8t8

    Looking into getting 1 of these but im new to the e bike world, so u just leave the bike in 7th gear and its not hard to pedal i see,,so it will only go so fast with just throttle?the max speed can only be reached by using pedal assist,in the lowest gear??could u explain more in depth,?how all of it works,also would u only use 1st gear if pedal assist is off? Thanks for the good reveiw btw😁

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can ride in the higher gear, and just leave it there, but when and if you need to "help" the motor out, you'll be working hard. It's super easy to change gears, shouldn't be an issue - great quality shifters.
      Max speed is basically what you can go with the motor, and then just a bit more. On some of these electric bikes, you'll be over the speed of the gear ratio before you run out of human capabilities, just an FYI,
      Since this is a HUB drive (on the back wheel), like most ebikes, there's no gear changes as far as the motor is concerned...if it were a MID Drive (in the middle, attached to the pedals) then you'd get the advantage of the gear shifting and efficiency to boot.
      Hope this helps!

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      PPG update - I'm still scared to fly here since the power lines are the reason I sprained both ankles on my 10th, and last flight. I've gone our and kited a few times, and trying to keep the muscle memory alive. I have also tried to launch a couple times across the street. The neighbor is super cool, and let me use his triangle lot up at the corner, but I couldn't get inflation, the wind was too weak, and I just huffed and puffed a bunch.
      I need the power lines buried, but fear that we'll drop $24,200 just to realize that I could have done it safely without. This would be a huge bummer.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      to clarify, I sprained both ankles at my friends site....where I was hemmed in by power lines on all four sides!!! But I sprained the ankles since I forgot to get out of the seat - dohhhh.
      I honestly want to be flying so badly, but we've been genuinely so busy, there's been so little time. I'm gonna kick myself if I don't make time and get flying some more ASAP!

      EXPLORE is a great option. You'll love it.
      As for the ANIIOKi AQ177 pro - amzn.to/3Ib4wqU - not sure about that one (yet), but we do get requests about 5-10 per month to review more of these EBikes...so if you wait long enough, we'll probably do it too ;) Some are really getting GREAT, but the Heybike line seem to continue to hit the right PRICE to VALUE ratio that most people want. I can't say the same for some of the "BETTER" ones. They're just a bit too expensive for the additional value people are perceiving, at from what we can tell.

I'm sorry it's not so simple as the Chinese marketing departments would have it be, but that's the truth. Amazing bike, BTW, but when it comes to EBikes, you'll get help even if it's a super steep slope and you have to actually pedal to help, where without EBike assistance, it would be a terrible hill. My experience is riding off road, and I max out the assistance, and have to help, but it's too late - LOL - and I stall it out ;( This happens to me, so I jack-knife up the hill, back and forth to help with the steepness, but even on the same bike, same ME, and I'll have to gauge my progress to know if I need to cut the hill short.
      Hope this helps, but AMAZING bike here!

    Planes VS bikes....It's more fun watching you fly planes than build planes--It's more fun watching you build bikes rather than ride them.

      I'm so happy with this one!!! Do kinda wish there was a few extra inches of clearance from the seat to the front (where the drink holder is). It does get a little "grabby" - LOL ;) Other than that, loving it! So much power, I can roll up and down the hills of the yard with impunity!!!

      We have had a number of ebikes now, and some more expensive, and some with better features, but guess what - we LOVE this one basically the best! It balances all the stuff we WANT with WEIGHT. It's a huge deal on Ebikes, and that's coming from me at almost 300 lbs myself. Weight of the bike makes a HUGE difference.
      Good luck with your search...

    Dude you are starting to get some cool free stuff to review soon your airplane problem will be also a product that every company sends you to review and flooded with all kinds of fun stuff rc planes boats cars E-bikes scooters ECT try to get KTM to send you their new Electric dirt bike in full race mode it's equal to a 400cc 2 stroke race bike. And also if you wanna get rid of some of those airplanes I would be glad to get the ones you don't want off your hands for ya if it's enough I'll bring a U-Haul and come get every plane you don't want trust me it will go to a good cause me teaching kids how to fly rc planes to help grow the hobby I have taught 9 kids in last two months to fly now they are regulars out at the field at every fly in and weekend just practicing and flying. Also I have full access to the baseball and football fields park where there is a huge giant field with no trees or anything as far as you can see with a really nice long flat parking lot perfect for a runway 3 mins from my house and I go out there alot and that's where I normally teach kids to fly is there and I use my personal s15e apprentice that I bought 5 years ago to teach my self how to properly fly again I'm 30 and when I was a kid around ten years old when I started flying we didn't have any of this as3x safe and fencing altitude holds and panic buttons. I had to learn by a buddy box and practice and fixing broken balsa planes every week until my ugly balsa 50 inch wingspan trainer Frankenstein balsa plane was so far gone it wouldn't fly straight anymore then I took a break for about 8 years from flying and got back into it again 5 years ago and have not stopped ever since especially since the cost to fly rc is very cheap then it use to be 20 years ago. You can get a foam plane that you built in the air that has like a 30 inch wing span for about 50 bucks if you buy the cheapest of the cheapest bangood electronics for it . So if you wanna donate any planes that are in excellent shape I will take all you willing to give away. I need trainers and intermediate acro planes and a some advanced balsa acro planes and foam as well

      That's cool that you're teaching kids to fly. This must be a challenging and super rewarding process!
      As for planes, we only liquidate some of the "older" ones from time to time to help make room for new. If you have a more specific inquiry, we have email in the ABOUT tab - click on my face, then about tab.
