I love the guy's attitude he gives when he's wrong. I felt that on a personal level and it made me think back to when I was in classes learning Chinese.
Im Cambodian with 25% of Chinese descent. I grew up in Cambodia my whole life and had never been to China once when I took my HSK level 6 test back in 2016. I was in grade 11 and was about to graduate from my Chinese class. I went to Chinese language school since I was 5. So I’d say that we learnt Chinese for about 12 years at that point. And oh my the test almost threw me in tears.
The listening part was difficult because we didn’t grow up in China or live in China before. Writing was somehow easier for me because we had been learning and writing Chinese for 12 consecutive years. Reading was super difficult because we didn’t have proper books. The books we used work as if it was for native speaker. Despite spending 4h a day at school for 11years, mind you we speak khmer (Cambodian) at home with almost 0 Chinese environment other than school. I thought I was going to fail HSK6 because I thought I did really bad on the listening part and reading. Turned out I passed with 218/300. My writing was 83 while my listening was 66 and reading was 69.
I was about to cry for real. Good old times. I’m 22 now and living in the US. I’m trying to watch Chinese shows and such so I wouldn’t forget Chinese but I already noticed that I forget how to write a lot because I’ve been away from school for so long and was never able to use much. Language is definitely a weird thing in a good way.

Totally fine to forget how to write. Many Mandarin speaks already forgot how to write many charaters... basically some obsolete skills in an age of typing

Actually we native Chinese speakers do say “你要穿多点衣服” verbally, and I do not think this is wrong. So weird.

Well, native doesn't mean you know the language at a high level nor does fluency.
In fact, even native speakers need some practice and tricks to pass the HSK 6 exam. The same to foreign students.
It happens in any language to native speakers in high level exams
It s the same for every language. I am a French for foreigners teacher and level 4 to level 6 is very a university level. So a lot of French may have level 5 but fail to level 6 since we ask for a real reflexion and be able to debate with a high level of knowledge, organization etc. I will say that level 5 is even harder since the writing exam asks for a real methodology that most poeple don't have even if you went to university because the 1st part it's mostly use in law or medical study.

6级对我来说最难的是找出语病的那段，其他倒是可以通过多做模拟考卷来掌握考试技巧

Well, the last two questions are grammatical. I totally understand in normal life some native speakers don't pay attention to those small but critical mistakes. A reason I can think of is that they mostly use oral/informal Chinese, not written/formal Chinese in life.

I think chinese can pass the forst two parts, of course with some mistakes. But writing is hard for them. Maybe they even fail to pass, especially if they go unprepared. So overall I think I got a better score in HSK6 than a random chinese picked-up from the street :))

那必不可能，汉语水平考试的作文题也就是小学四五年级的水平。尽管现在由于不怎么使用手写了，一些生僻字会经常容易忘记怎么写，但应付这种考试说明绰绰有余的。（我不知道你能不能立即明白我这些话的意思，如果不能，说明你的汉语水平有待提高，如果能，说明你的水平已经很高了）

I think that western students should be taking the test using the computer based exam where I putting the pinyin to select the hanzi while the Overseas born Chinese such as American born Chinese and native Japanese students learning Chinese should be required to take the paper based exam where they have to handwrite the hanzi by hand to level the playing field a bit more.

I haven't took HSK 6 officially even though I already passed the HSK 5 more than 2 years ago. Because I am too lazy to prepare for it.
But the hardest part is the 写作 part🥺
The 听力 is easiest for me.
I hope there's still time before the system is changed.
How is 写作 performed? Are we just supposed to write characters the right way?

No, you then have 35 min to write a synopsis of 400 characters and a title. It is very hard even for chinese.

It's interesting that 你要穿多点儿衣服 is incorrect, although the 多 would go better with the 衣服 ("more clothes").
But the grammar rule tells us that the 多 needs to go in front of the 穿 ("more wearing").
I think that this could be confusing. For example:
你要多骑自行车 looks like it could mean either "You need to ride more bicycles" or "You need to do more cycling".
For "You need to ride more bicycles" perhaps it's better to say: 你要骑更多的自行车
你骑更多自行车is incorrect.We don't speak like that.We always say 你需要多骑自行车🚲
多穿点衣服是正确的。但南方，广东，海南，福建，甚至台湾，他们会讲穿多点衣服，受他们方言的影响，但我们听起来很刺耳。
你要骑更多的自行车这句话对我来说，不太明白你讲的什么，中国人不会这么用，但如果是个外国人，我会理解成2.至于要表达1的意思，应该是你要多试试不同的自行车，英文是you need to try more bicycles. 似乎给人的感觉是在买自行车，或者在评测各个牌子的自行车

Ok, if I take Czech language C2 exam, I also should be able to pass it. Not sure about the English one, but for the native speaker it should be also a joke, obviously.
Don't know about Czech, but have you tried it? I saw the exams for my own language and they are very hard indeed. I think over 90% of the population wouldn't pass.

高考语文难度 某些题
由于最近的HSK改革，6级已经不会最高的了，一共会有9级🥺 刚通过了HSK6，感觉毫无用处
HSK改革可能还需要3-5年。HSK 7-9级只是适用于研究中文的外国学者，记者或者其他更细分领域的职业。
如果你通过了hsk 6考试，我建议你多看中文频道，电影，现代电视剧，文学作品，中文社交平台的资讯，以保持浸入式学习高级中文。

其实高考语文更加难。
雖然中國人說話不怎麼講求語法，但這種難度的考試衹能說這個大叔的語文是真不行，錯的這幾題初中生都能做出來，根本不具備參考性

作为母语者，我觉得这个没有必要，因为在中文交流中不需要很多书面语言，只需要正常口语交流就可以了，而且我们交流中也有不少语法错误
