To those of you who don't know who Aunt Dahlia is, she's the bad guy from "An Old Story."Her M.O. is basically telling parents completely ignorant of their own family tree that she's a distant relative come to watch over the kids while they go on vacation. After sneaking in, she feeds the kids magic prunes that make them grow older. She then sells the kids to depraved elders who became old naturally as spouses for them to do God knows what to them. Her latest two victims fought back and dumped a whole jar of her magic prune juice on her making her age to death. The prunes are easy to cure by the way, just need baby food or anti-aging cream.Aunt Dahlia is probably one of the sickest, most vile monstrosities ever to have crawled out of Stine's head and that says something.
It's a weird trend in Goosebumps books that parents would rather leave their kids with someone they barely know just because they're a relative, rather than just letting them stay with a friend or a neighbor or something.
The purposes were... A little more straight forward. Basically she was trying to age up kids to turn them into elderly bachelors for older women. Still creepy as all get-out from an "FBI OPEN UP" perspective, but it's not played off nearly as horrific as it sounds. It's played up more so for humor.
This actually seems like a really cute little game. I also love how the protagonist seems more mildly annoyed at the creepy house than actually scared of it :D I'm wondering if it's going to turn out that the game is just trolling you with the number of items you can pick up.
