    Nile Rodgers is literally the nicest celebrity I have ever met - was asking all of the fans about their lives. Just a lovely man

      I Agree 100% = I've taken his recording & production classes in NYC, and also Hung-out in a Club with him one night. He is so Real and down-to-earth. Super humble and extremely nice. I love him. He is a Huge Inspiration for me. oNe LoVe from NYC

    Nile is perhaps the most recognizable-sounding guitar player on the planet. His influence is just everywhere, and nobody sounded like Chic in the 70s, bands were practically falling over themselves to emulate their sound, all thanks to Nile.

    Anybody has the right to slag off Duran but not , at the very least, their musicianship. Seriously & criminally underrated , at least in UK . There's a video here on You Tube of them in Sweden 1981 and even then they were so tight. JohnTaylor would have to be a decent player for Bernard Edwards to give him a bass.

    • @NightBitMusic

      "Seriously & criminally underrated"!! Totally agree!!!!

    • @LRS905
      @LRS905 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      He did not gave him a bass...he gave him THE bass...I can just start to imagine how one can admire and have someone as a role model for musicianship, and years later end working with him, and eventually inheriting a very famous instrument.

      You need to do your research before you start getting chatty yourself, the biggest hit of their career is HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF which hits 40 million and was written by the band themselves and produced by Colin Thurston

    • @MontUHURU_Mimia777

      @@ryk1265 *Want to put this under a microscope? Bet. "Hungry Like The Wolf", is Duran Duran's **_most popular "streamed song" in the UK--and stats show this song has 40.4 million "streams" to its name._** However, their **_BEST SELLING SINGLE was 1984's "The Reflex",_** back when people were still buying records. Moreover, the band's original single sounded nothing like Nile Rodgers "remix", and Nick Rhodes is famous for telling the story of how EMI **_didn't want to release_** the Nile Rodgers remix because, according to them, it was too **_"Black-sounding"._** Fortunately, Nile had the power to get the song released anyway, and it became the **_biggest selling single of their career._** Now, this goes to show how your argument's **_empty,_** just like your TH-cam channel.*
