You really do have great tutorials but, your camera isn't doing justice to most of them. I love how you explain step, by step. I'm new here, am staying put also.God bless
You said your shoulder measurement divided by 2 is 7.5 inches which means your shoulder measurement is 14 inches, how did you arrive at that number, show us how you took your shoulder measurement. What do you mean by shoulder measurement. Do you start measuring at the side of your neck straight across your shoulder until you reach the point where your arm starts, because if that is the case no one has a shoulder that long. I am confused. Also how did you measure your sleeve length, please give us a demonstration.
My shoulder measurement is 15 inches. 15 divided by 2 gives you 7.5 inches. Like I said earlier, you need to watch a video on how to take accurate body measurement. Even if I start explaining it here, you still will not understand. As a beginner, that's the first thing you are supposed to learn. And you also need to learn how to calculate your tape rule. I really appreciate your feedback. Am going to make a video on how to do those things. Hope I answered your questions. If there's any other thing you need to know, feel free to ask. I will be here to answer your questions. Thanks and God bless.
@Lizama Stitches - Thank you for replying. When you say your shoulder measurement is 15 inches, I want to know where do you start placing the measuring tape. Do you place it on your shoulder and go over your breast and straight down to your waist. If this is what you are talking about then that will be called shoulder to waist measurement not shoulder measurement. Do you understand what I am saying.
No. I don't mean placing your tape on your shoulders and taking it down to your waist. The thing is, you need to watch a video on how to take accurate boby measurement so that you can understand better. It's not something I can explain here
@@loveandpeace3545 what she is trying to explain to you is her shoulder to shoulder measurement which is 15" divided by 2 will give you 7.5" Her sleeve length is 14.5" plus 1" sewing allowance. Now 7.5+14.5+1= the total width of the fabric.... And that is to say the shoulder and sleeve length is cut together. This has nothing to do with the waist
@ loveandpeace, I think the simple explanation on how to take your shoulder measurement, is by placing your measuring tape on one end of your shoulder to the other end of your shoulder. If that makes sense. I will make a video on how to take accurate body measurement. Please click on the bell icon so you will be notified whenever I upload that video.
You said your armhole measurement is 16 inches, how did you measure your armhole to arrive at this number. When making a video you need to show us how you took these measurements. We are trying to learn from you.
Thanks for the feedback. And am sorry about that. I think I will do a tutorial on how to take accurate body measurement Taking body measurement is the first thing you are supposed to learn as a fashion designer. I can't teach you everything in one video. Or else the video will be too long. If you don't know how to take your body measurement yet, you need to watch another video on how to take accurate body measurement.
Welldone
Thank you
