    Hey Eddie, I was originally planning on making the V0 with a high flow mosquito/dragon style hot end, potentially enclosed with part cooling from the sides of the build plate with the aim of SUPER fast printing. However I need a build volume of 200mm3 and the max Nero 3dp pointed me in the direction of the v1. Would I possibly be able to as you a few questions about your experience with the V1?

    Nice ИOЯOV! Now I want to build a V1.

    Thanks for the video. Where did you source that thermal blanket for the printer. Was the enclosure at 65 C from bed heat alone?

      I purchased “Reflectix”-it’s available at home improvement stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot in the US. Yes-65-75C from just the bed and extruder heat, no additional heaters 😊

      @@eddietheengineer Found it, thanks. BTW: I love your mathematical analysis on belt tension/thermistors and other items.

    which one is better, the V1.8 with three leed screws or the belted V2.4?

    • @eddietheengineer
      @eddietheengineer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are both great and have advantages and disadvantages 😉. I have V1 and V2 printers and like both

      @@eddietheengineer I have a costum corexy printer similar to the V1, currently I am thinking if it makes sense to convert it to a V2 similar concept? Are your printers with the V2 better or just as good as the V1?

    • @eddietheengineer
      @eddietheengineer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Pascal_1995 I don’t see any improvement from V1 to V2-I use the same print speeds for both 😊

      @@eddietheengineer haha good to know, the biggest improvement could be the belted Z when you have little z wobble

    Nice. I’m building 1.8. And I want to have 3 lead screw for z axis. Do you have guide for that? Thanks.

    • @eddietheengineer
      @eddietheengineer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t have a guide for this because it was a quick hack to test out 3 leadscrews 😊 but there will be a solution for it in the future!
