U.S. Army Trains to Operate with Kenyan Army Rangers | East African Response Force

- The Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa’s East African Response Force, or EARF, arrived at Manda Bay, Kenya as part of an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise, or EDRE, in order to validate deployed soldiers and their ability to respond to crises in the region. During the EDRE, US and Kenyan Forces integrated and discussed mutual support and plans to mitigate risks in Kenya.

I see a lot of pride in the comments section (the Americans) yes we Kenyan don't do military combat like you guys from the books, ours comes from the traditional ways we can't compare Kenyans with you guys how have fought countless military combat you have like 2000 years plus us we are like 20 year,.! Yes that's the difference and we fought with spears no guns no body armor but still we are were we are and we have many jungle techniques that our advantage but now we have to blend in to the modern ways and i still believe we can do it ,🇰🇪🇰🇪 proud to kenyan

It is okay to work with the American soldiers and train together but Kenya has the good experience of this region . I believe there will be a good lesson. We af EAST AFRICAN COUNTRIES WE WANT DRC TO HAVE PEACE AND STABILITY. We don't want ppl to interfere with our rights or killing of ppl it will be abuse of human rights. KDF is the best and I believe together with the Support of American forces in the area the mission will be great. ✅
we need a kenyan company that mass produce military gear and equipment.. look at those guys and the the way they are under equiped
The ranger team is fully equipped, hii ilikua drill they carried what they need. We have among the top 5 special weapp forces in Africa. And the best in EAc.
We are also the only country on this side that manufactures guns
I respect American soldiers they are very cooperative and they work without hypocrisy and without discrimination. Is not like African soldiers some of their leaders are and their selection is based on tribal values and beliefs. There is a big difference in African countries military compared to American military. They are also the most disciplined soldiers in the world. I really adore.

Fighting is in the DNA of the Sudanese people. Even here in Kenya you can still see Kenyans with Sudanese ancestry dominating front line combat teams, you see the same thing is in Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Chad, Eritrea and many more other countries

In the Kenya the most militaristic communities came from Nile valley in Sudan, mostly the kalenjin set of communities.
