Another great mix. You are a stunning and brilliant! And you love what you do, everyone can hear this while listening to your mixes. This is of course timeless piece of music. I remember the day when I heard it for the first time. Time stood still. It was so completely different compared to all the other songs back then. This was special. While listening to it your mind produced immediately an imagination, a mood, a kind of film to the song - and it was pretty close to the atmosphere of the video, which I saw weeks later… I became (and still am) a fan. So thank you so much for effort to give their songs a new spin. It’s very much appreciated
Cheers Lenny. This is their "signature" track so I knew I had to be respectful and not take any liberties (there are some atrocious versions on TH-cam). But I'm happy with the way it turned out. It's different but not overly so.
Spot on Andy, I have heard some of the versions out there and they just don’t do the original justice. Vienna is a timeless piece of music and can sit in any decade.
It's not Midge's vocals from Live Aid sadly. But you are in the right ball park. It's something I've done to recreate a tiny piece of the Live Aid performance. Glad you like this version. I was anxious about it with it being a bona-fide classic.

Love the mix Andy, The slightly distorted vocals and slight change of tempo work really well.

@lennyrussell8954 The fact it's still played on radio and TV after 43 years confirms what you say. Where's Joe Dolce eh lol.
Great mix. It actually sounds like Midge's vocals from Live Aid
