What man is gone? It’s March 1, 2019 and Kris Kristofferson is alive and well. He’s on tour right now. Had the pleasure of hearing him sing in Chicago last year at the City Winery. What a voice and what a presence. I was one table away from the stage. He was so gracious and after his last song he shook hands with those closest around him. So genuine.

The second verse you can tell he is on the verge of tears and it makes me well up everytime I hear it.
