People complaint free frame on the 3s cropped in a lot and not as user friendly like the 3 because if the horizontal vertical record mode of the 3s… hopefully you may do a free frame mode comparing true 2 cameras … thanks
It's not just you. Everybody thinks they are some Hollywood film maker and won't just leave stuff alone and show us what the camera can do by itself. The raw looked WAY better on almost every shot. But the pixel peepers are looking for a tiny bit of grain in the black background when the rest of the world could care less. It is so frustrating.
@@KevinVenturePhilippines just out of interest, did you get one of these Insta 360 Go 3s’s? I’m struggling to find anyone on TH-cam who will just show us what the footage really looks and sounds like.
That's actually better then I thought it was going to be, I think the new lens made a big dif with low light in the 3s but yah, for just goofing around at night it's not bad. If i want to do more serious low light/night shooting, I'll pull out the Ace Pro.
Im actually surprised because it’s 2.8. The Go3 was 2.2 which is far better. Must be the chip… Can you also compare it with original GO3 Footage please?
Any thoughts on EV comp for Low Light video? I just got mine today. I already see some improvement over the Go3. Surprised it doesn't have the noise reduction export option like the X line.
Se sabe que no es una cámara de uso en baja luz pero me a sorprendido mucho la calidad de la imagen pero más aún la estabilidad del video ! Usaste estabilidad adicional en edición o algo parecido?
I just want to see this camera vs the Action 5 for a vlogging camera. Nobody has one out on all of YT that I have found. The average viewer doesn't care so much about the details. I did not see you use the lowlight stabilizer mode here on this one. I just want to see what they can do out of camera, and maybe very little of the log stuff. Just which is better and more fun for run and gun.
I am hoping to use this came on my cap for a concert next year it's a indoor rock concert has much has I like to capture footage with my phone to re-enjoy my experience and share it but also like the idea of hands free and able to join in without any issue.
be careful with quick head movements. people dont realize how fast they move their head areound and mounted on cap really makes for some unsettling video
@@MarkMatthewsNJ I been using it for the first time on my hat and pendent... Both good in their own right.. Pendent is good for just as it is forward shooting while you walk.. Thanks for sharing low light samples and your settings. I just got this and I'm curious if this will fit the go 3 dive case? i noticed it's thicker and has a bigger lens so I'm not sure if this will fit the small dive case.
Which dive case? are you talking about the individual dive case for just the camera part or the dive case for the whole camera? The dive case for the whole GO 3/3s will fit both, as for the individual camera dive housing, I'm not sure, I will know once I get the 3s, I have the 3rd party camera dive housing. I was told by my sources it will fit if you remove the lens guard on the 3s. The problem is, just hope you don't have a leak 😂
@@AirsoftRealSteelBoxing Yah, I have both dive cases but only have the GO 3, hopefully I'll get the 3s soon to test out those dive cases. Will do a video on it once I test it out.

I assume they will be somewhat the same. The differences i guess, is compensated with the sensor optimization. But you’d mainly get this type of camera for daytime and the 3S for the better 4K image
Isn't quite as simple as f2.8 is worse than f2, but it does mean less light. However, the focal lengths are different, the lens is bigger, and the processing is improved. There's no guarantee that the optical quality of the two lenses are identical. So, too many variables to really say worse. It could be a wash and it could mean something is better or worse. Right now, we need folks to anecdotally do some testing.
@@davidfirth1 Mh, i don't know... i don't get why not keeping the aperture "bigger" and still have software optimization, it seems sus to me that the go3s costs even less than the normal go3, like they skimped on something (like that aperture)?
@@granciporro Engineering doesn't work like that. The focal length, target use of the sensor area, and lens are all different. It isn't a case of the camera looks the same so therefore why didn't they leave it alone. What I expect is that the lens configuration of the 3 was not up to the performance level, optically, that they needed to do 4K, even with the improved processor. // Edited to add that even in mirrorless cameras, wider apertures do not add up to more clarity. Usually the lenses are optically not that sharp "in the corners" wide open (excluding very expensive, very well compensated glass). A lot of fast glass lenses actually are at their best, clarity wise, when they're stopped down to a smaller aperture. It is a game of compromises in design.
Now we have to decide upfront whether to record vertically or horizontally. Gone are the days of reframing later in Studio or the mobile app. Jumping between 16:9 and 9 :16 after recording creates a mess, unlike the freedom we had with the Go 2 and Go 3. This feels like a compromise forced by the new 4:3 sensor instead of a spherical one!!

Get a sony camera
Ace Pro, and a mic on your collar (so we can hear you with less road noise).
were you guys in Greece?
Is that Rhodes ?

What software you use for your final video cuts?
Final cut👍
compare with DJI action 2.
The low light isn’t bad, just extremely grainy which deters from the quality
i think grainy is ok for most as long as it's not weird or flickering/liney
The new freeframe mode ist very bad!

128 gb for 4k video is simply not enough by far!!!
