I like this story. It has revenge, romance, infidelity, b*llying, love, hate...just about everything. The saying "Revenge is sweet, but the result is bitter" applies to this story.
I find this FL irritating and slap-worthy. She knows her weaknesses but keeps putting herself in miserable and stupidly dangerous situations. She maybe acting to trap the criminal but her strategy is so stupid. Jacob is a victim she used and stringed along. In her letter, she wrote she liked him but she does not want to let Jonas go. She's no better than Ella.
When you loose someone it doesn't meant you have to stop loving them or that you dont have place in your heart for someone else if that someone can't accept your past and the fact that a part in your heart will always belongs to them , then your are not meant to be. If it was about an ex still alive ok, but it's a dead lover who she grieved, she did love Jacob and tried to move on and the letters seems to help her , she also wanted blessing from her dead lover 58:47 for her alive one , to know that it was ok for her to be happy and in love. Ella was selfish because her feelings wasn't reciprocate she deliberately killed someone ! And when she knew who Jacob was with she wanted to destroy them. Jacob was her second choice her last option. For the Fl he wasn't second choice but second chance for happiness and love. At least that how i think when people dies you have to move forward but doesn't meant you have to erase your past with them and that you cant carries them in your heart but just to learnt make place for new people if you are ready . The fl had genuine feelings , Jacob let her down so she wanted to go back to the one who never did at least not intentionally. (Sorry if my english is weird it's not my language.)
I hate these characters who really have no comprehension of what love is. Even Jonas if alive couldn’t conform to the ideals of the FL. Who doesn’t make mistakes in life, we can’t always prevent tears. You’re putting unrealistic expectations in young viewers.
