The sentinel used to be owned by John Woodley in Devon so this wagon brings back some good memories when it was ralled down here he did the same used to take us for a road run then up to the beer tent when we came back to the rally field i had the privilege of being in the cab on a couple of occasions as well
really nice event with a nice mix of all sorts of utilitarian vehicles, not limited to steam traction. Try travelling on the bed of the truck or a trailer in normal traffic, would be a guarantee for a hefty fine 😁. But nice that they (the police) allow it during these rallies.

i think the police once stopped or tried to stop trailers leaving Pickering traction engine rally one year.
i love seeing youngsters getting into this .
